In Memory

This side of the website is a great idea all credit to Dagny.

I had a miscarriage Feb 2002 at 14 weeks and thought life was so cruel. I am now 18 weeks pregnant and although I have found it hard to be excited just in case, myself and hubby are starting to relax a little bit and are enjoying each day that bump grows. Each extra day is a godsend and here's hoping that there is a happy ending this time.

We will always remember the baby we lost and light a candle each year and have planted a rose bush in memory.

Thinking of all of you that have had this sadness touching your life.

glad you came over here if only it was not these circumstances. I often think of you as we were cycling around the same time and I had an ectopic and then you went on to get pg and I will always remember your post "my heart is breaking" - I was delighted to read you were pg again and have left you messages in various places on this site but can't for the life of me remember where as I am all over this board!

Congratulations on your pg obviously and I know what you mean as I am 20 wks today and still have flaps - the big nasty scan where it all went wrong is next week! Like your little one, Oliver is always remembered and with me everyday but now I can look at his photo and not cry - I can smile and he still lights up my life
Love to all those special babies

Lisa & Dagny

It's so understandable that you are both finding it hard to relax totally at the moment - I know I was the same, but you know, with each day passing, it's another day gone and another 'hurdle' overcome. The milestones will soon come and go and soon you will both be mummies. I believe that everything that happens in our lives does make us stronger - just look at the two of you! :D

Wishing you both very happy and healthly times for the remainder of your pregnancies.

Hi there Lisa

I am so pleased you are PG again, it really gives me faith for my next attempt.

I am sorry you had to go through losing your baby at 14 weeks. It must have been hard for you. We go through such a lot to get PG and then to go through losing them too it's a double blow isn't it?

You have got to 18 weeks which is great :D and I am sure it will be fine this time although I would be flapping (a Tracey-ism) as I am known for flapping even at the slightest thing. My fertility team think I am a right pain in the wotsit  I have them on speed dial and I am sure alarms go off when my number comes up on switch board! I can't imagine what it will be like when I get PG again. Notice I said 'when' and not 'if'. I am trying to be positive :D

David and I have just had a lovely lazy weekend away in Chichester which was a great tonic. It was a month on Friday since we lost Katelyn and we needed some time to be together where no one knew us.

How lovely that you planted a rose bush for your baby. Each time it flowers you will have a lovely memory. I am lighting a candle every day at the moment, it just feels right.

I wish you so much luck and hope you have a wonderful pregnancy, I would say don't worry and just enjoy it but I would be exactly just like you. Just take each day as it comes. Prayers for all our special angels.

Love Dagny xkx
