tips on how to get your baby to take vitamins? eat veggies?

Postby riogirl71 » Fri Aug 14, 2009 5:43 pm

I need help getting my baby to take his vitamins, eat veggies, chicken, fish etc!

The doc said polyvisol at first and I mixed it with jam and anything to mask the flavor - didn't work. Now doc said Flinstones, half a tablet crushed, I tried mixing it with yogurt, jam, you name it and out is comes! He is also refusing to eat any kind of veggies, I try every time and time again, different ones, the same ones, a little cheese and nothing. He is 10 months old and will eat as much cheese as you give him and fruit but nothing else. Anyone have tips?

We have been doing PolyViSol since birth. We put it in one bottle a day and that masks it enough to where they drink it with no problem. Otherwise, I have no idea. Crushed up vitamins maybe in applesauce??

Our daughter's favorite food is collard greens. I think it's because the barbeque place we get it from mixes in a little pork and uses lard, which makes it pretty tasty. She'll take pretty much any form of fat now that she's off breast milk.
