just wondered how many weeks you where when you delivered and whether it was a natural birth or c section!
Thanks in anticipation of you finding time to reply

36w 2d, planned c-section and 5 days NICU...
My STUPID OB did not give me betamethasone even though my labor began at 26 weeks and I had to take terbutaline SULFATE! Both babies had weak lungs at 36 weeks!!! My baby boy is prone to pneumonia when he gets a cold...
Good luck and ask everyone about NICU time too... THATS IMPORTANT!

I was 37 wks 1 day, planned c-section. I was scheduled for 38 weeks but my little girl was small and they thought it best to take her out sooner rather than later. In the end she was a healthy 4 lb 4 ozs! My 6 lb 6 oz boy spent 4 days in NICU for breathing problems...go figure!

I also had a weak cervix (seems to be common with multiples). Had a cerclage placed at 17 weeks, at which time I was .5 cm dilated! It's a miracle I made it to 37 weeks considering my docs' initial goals were to get me to 24 weeks.

I just gave birth to my twins on January 4th by emergency c-section. They were 35 weeks 2 days. My little boys cord got cut off from the placenta. So I was at my doctors appt. then forty mins. later they were delivered. It was pretty scary. My little girl was in the NICU for a week to gain weight and were still waiting for Joshua to come home, he needs to gain two more ozs, then he will be home too. It was all worth it, I love my twins sooooooo much

Hey usmcwife!! I havent seen you in so long and was wondering how you were doing. Congrats on the twins!!!! It must have been sooo scary to have everything be normal one minute, and potential disaster the next. Did they say how the cord got cut off from the placenta? I never heard of this before. How did they discover it? On ultrasound?
Good luck and I hope they come home soon!

I delivered my twins vaginally at 34w5d. I would do it again in a heartbeat and am thankful that I didn't have a c-section.

Well I delivered my twins at 38wks 1d via scheduled C-section. The doc said I could have actually went another week, but I didnt want to risk going into labor. Lol. C-section was a breeze but the recovery was horrible... at least for the first week. I am now 2 wks post surgery and am doing MUCH better.
