We did agree to let Jenna have Vitamin K by injection. There wasnt enough conclusive evidence about side effects (such as possibility of increase of chance of leukaemia) and didnt want to risk it in case she did then have problems with bleeding. (Which can lead to brain damage and even death).

We also decided that we prefered to let her have the injection rather than giving it orally ourselves, because the injection is supposed to be more effective. (It also doesnt taste very nice apparently and we didnt like the idea of having to give medicine to a tiny baby ourselves).
