Ok I know this is taboo around here latley but I have just got to ask!

Have you?

What day?

What was the result?

Tomorrow will be my 6th day after transfer and I am soooo very tempted!

Please give me your feedback quick!!

Hi Lisa... HPT's arnt really taboo here it depends on you your resolve how you feel and how unreliable they really are...
day 6 would only be good to show you that the HCG shot has left your system...your little one wouldnt show yet at all... has to be at least day 7 and then it would be very very faint and if you did a day 5 transfer?...for any kind of hope to see a true result you should wait till day 10 then it can be a false -ive...see but its always so good to see that pink line

Lisa i agree with pebbles. We took a HPT 3 days after a 3 day transfer to check and see if the hcg was out of my system from my trigger shot--and it was got a bfn so assumed it was out of my system already. I then started testing 7days after transfer with ept and clear blue easy hpt---they both turned up with a faint + 7 days after transfer. Being the obsessive person i am i went and bought more and continued to test once or twice a day until my bw--they all stayed +. We are currently 6 weeks pg. If and when you test at home make sure to get a test that tests for like 50 mi or lower--some other brands test higher and your + will not show up for awhile longer as they are not sensitive enough to pick up the early pgy hormone. I would suggest clear blue easy or ept--good luck can't wait to see a BFP. bridget

I tested 3 times today. It didn't releive my itch tough.

Well... I did it! 1st thing this morning! BFN

I was sad for about 2 hours then I came in here to comfirm that prob was still too early.

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH I'm going crazy!!

I agree... but either way....everybody is going crazy during this 2ww. It will not change the end result though

Hi, I go for my blood test tomorrow. Trying to manage my expectations and assume the worst. I've been fighting not taking a HPT with the reasoning that I don't want to get disappointed twice...may not be the healthiest way to look at it but it's working. Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Take care and good luck!

On my first IVF, I took an HPT 4 days after 3dt. It came back negative. I took another one the day of my second beta, which was 10 days after 3dt and it was positive - my serum hcg that day per the RE was 45. However, I was truly saddened after the HPT on day 4. I think as everyone said, you have to decide if you can handle the dissapointment if you test too early. Hang in there, the 2WW is brutal, but try to relax!

Any hope ? I think it's too low

I had 20 on day 8 after 3dt and then 45 on day 10. I think the key is the doubling factor every 48 hours.

ok I'm really trying not to get too excited but I took another HPT this afternoon.

It's day 9 of a 3dt it was a very faint positive!!!!!

It was a first respose early result test. I've been reading on pee on a sticks web site that false positives are a rare bird. What do you all think about this?

I'm going to test again 1st thing in the morning.
