I totally agree Becky. I come on here quite a lot but mostly I read and don't post. I sometimes feel like there's nothing else for me to say on the subject or I feel low and don't want to drag anyone else down.

I have made some really good friends on here though and I take comfort on seeing how they are getting on and hopefully being of some support now and again.

Hope you are okay today.

Lisa(Loonpants)
xx

Becky

know exactly how you feel even if you will be all suprised at me being at a loss for words. This weekend was hard as AF arrived - 31 days after birth of baby so in a way good and in others absolutley awful as it reminds me of what I have lost and what that I have had no AF for 5 months!
Lisa how are you?
I heard from CAroline (scorry) a couple of weeks ago - they were off to Aberdeen re the PM results but weren't too chuffed as Thornfin was fine and swallowed his own mycenium (however you spell it) because of fast labour. Dropped her an email last week but not heard yet.
Take care both of you
Love
Tracey
xxx

Dear ALL,
I am the same, often read the posts but worry that I have not got much to add that will be cheery. Feel a bit out of it on the other side as we have been told that without donor egg chances are so slim. However, some good news as I had progesterone tested last month which shows I did ovulate and so DH and I are going to go for a natural cycle to collect maybe one egg. They won't do this at ARGC because feel chance too low but at the Lister they have said will give it a go if that is what we want. I just keep thinking that if they can collect an egg then our chances are as good as everyone else's if it fertilises. Do you guys think we are mad to do this? I figured that the cost of egg collection is almost met by what we won't spend on Gonal F etc. Did not even get to egg collection last time and it cost £1600! Is it possible that my remaining fairly old ovary just can't take the pressure when bombarded by gonal-F etc.
Hope you do not mind me posting on this part of site.
Grace, where are you? How is it all going?
Becky, have you any snow in Montana yet?
Tracey, great to hear from you again. AF rushed in for me yesterday so that explains crotchety, grumpy bear syndrome over the weekend!
Take Care all,
Lou

Hi my friends

Just wanted to say hello to you all. I know what you mean Becky even though I am in a cycle, because I am such a bloody old hand now I sometimes feel I have nothing to say anymore. Still glad to have this board though it makes me feel so much less alone than I used to in the early days. I knew noone going through treatmeant or even anyone who ever had. I really felt so alone at times this board has opened my eyes in many ways.
Even if we don't write that much we all know we are there if needed which is a nice feeling is n't it?
Lou, I don't think you are mad going for a natural cycle. The thing is that if you don't you might always wish you had. It will be fantastic if it works and if not you can draw a clean line under it and move on to the egg donation. Go for it girl!!

As for me, the cycle is going fine and hopefully all depending on bloods etc I will be in for egg collection on Friday. Will let you know how I am getting on.
Lots of love to you all
Gracexxx
