Hi Girls

Just before I pop off to my bed I wanted to say how much I enjoyed our evening together.

It was great to put faces to all the names and to get to know you all. It just felt like a very natural get-together with friends and it was lovely to chat and laugh and smile and feel a bit sad all in the same evening.

I really hope we all meet up again in the future, maybe we should do this every few months or so.

Well night, night.
Lots of love Jen xx

Morning girls

Just popped in to echo Jen's words - had a lovely time last night and it was so nice to put names to faces, and also to know that we all go through the same stuff and all find the same things frustrating - it's good to know we're not alone!

I agree with Jen, let's maybe try to meet up every 2nd month or so!

Take care of yourselves and keep in touch on these boards.

Louli - really hope you get to the top of that donor list soon.
Jen, Grace, Alison - if you decide to go again, I'll be rooting for you all!

I'll let you know how we get on at the More To Life meeting on 17th!

Love

Hi Girls

Just wanted to say the same again really. It was a lovely evening.
I felt quite nervous and shy about the prospect just because that is the way I am about meeting new people. However, you were all so lovely there certainly was no need to feel that way.

It just felt really natural. So very refreshing to be able to share all the similar experiences and emotions we have been through.
I really feel a new strength today because of our meeting.

Would love to meet up again in a couple of months and in mean time will keep in touch as ever.

Love

Dear Luce, Alison, Jen and Grace,
Thank you all for last night. It was great to meet some new people with whom I share so many emotions!!! Agree with Grace totally - despite feeling quite nervous about the meeting it all felt very natural. We should definitely do it again. In the meantime - All the very best to you all and a huge thank you for a lovely evening,

Dear Jen, Lucy, Grace and Lou

Well you've all beaten me too it and there's nothing really for me to add - but when's that ever stopped me?! It only really hit me on the way home that last night didn't feel like an evening with people I'd never met before - it felt like a meeting with old friends who really understand where I'm at, and that's really quite amazing.

Looking forward to seeing you again maybe in March sometime - its someone else's turn to be the bossy one next time deciding precisely where and when!

Much love to the four of you

Alison xx

Traci - what are you like???

You're the top poster and you still didn't manage to spot this post. We had a lovely night and hopefully we will be doing it again. It would be great to see you.

So keep watching these boards.

I'm back at work now, very busy which is good, keeps my mind occupied. I know we'll try again and I also know that I think the hardest thing for me to do will be to draw a line under the fertility treatment. I think you're all so brave for the decisions you make - it's very hard.

We have a follow-up at ARGC on FEb 19th, so we'll see if Mr T (hopefully him) has anything to say. I know I'm not in the Life after IVF stage but I feel so much more comfortable on this side of the boards - a bit strange.

Thinking of you all.
Lots of love

Hello to all my other friends too. Hope everyone is doing okay.
I am fine, still the same really. I know what you mean Jen about feeling more comfortable here. I am still completely muddled up about where to go next but hopefully all will become clearer soon.
Take care all of you
Lots of love
