Hi chriss,
congratulations! 12 weeks already!! Enjoy seeing your little ones on the big screen on Wednesday. I'm sure they have grown a lot!
Didn't realize you go to one place for the scans and another for your appointments. Hope it isn't too much driving for you and that your ob/gyn is a lot closer to home than your RE was.
Here, my ob/gyn does all the scans herself. (except for the anatomy scan, which was done at the hospital).

Thinking of you this week, Sabi. Just a few more days to go. Hang in there!

Hi Carolyn, hope all is well with you!

xx summer

Hey Carolyn,
Thanks! Hope you are feeling good. I don't go to two different places, but the scan today is done by a sono tech and tomorrow I have a regular OB appointment. The OB does most of the other scans, etc. but this one is done by a tech and my OB is not in today. Usually they try to book them together. But we did it this way so DH can go. It's hard for him to get days off work. This office is only 10 minutes from home!!!! Unlike my old 2 & 1/2 hour drive to Manhattan!!! How are you doing? Any symptoms?

Hi Summer!!!

This ones for you Sabi...

Hey chriss - glad to know your doctor is so close by -- and so nice that DH can go with you -- hopefully often. I know my DH has really enjoyed seeing the baby grow each month. He even felt it kick for the first time last week. He was so excited about that.

Hope all went well today!

Carolyn - enjoy the week with your parents! Is this their first grandchild?

Sabi - thinking of you!! This is probably the longest wait of all for that first scan....almost there!!

Good luck today Sabi!! Looking forward to hearing how your scan went!

chriss -enjoy the time away visiting your sister and your nephews!

Hi Carolyn - hope you are having a wonderful time with your parents!

My borderline case of gestational diabetes seems to be just that -- borderline. I've done a good job keeping my blood sugar in the normal range by adjusting my diet and exercise routine, but I've also lost weight! My whole life I've never had a problem gaining weight until now! It wasn't much that I lost, but I should still be gaining at this point! So, I am working to find the right balance.
On the other hand, the baby is doing really well and still measuring on target for its age. It has also become quite active in the last weeks and DH has also had the chance to feel it and see it moving around as well!

Take good care and enjoy your weekend!

wow sabi - so pleased xx

hows everyone else doing ??

FM - nothing much to report had a nice weekend with my parents and did the dumbest thing of all .... I had my scan picture in an envelope on my desk to protect it - on Thursday I was doing some letters to my managers at work and inadvertantly sent the scan picture in one of the envelopes - mad panic as have not told work am pregnanat yet !! - so called all managers and told them had sent them letter but in error so just put it to one side and I would collect it !!! ... so saturday morning DH and I set off on a tour of the Norfolk countryside - luckily secong site I visited I retrieved it - unopened - blaming it on preganany brain !!!!

Catch you all later xx

Hi Carolyn,
glad you were able to retrieve your picture before the cat was out of the bag! I've also had a very bad case of pregnancy brain, and DH as well -- one of his sympathy symptoms! :D
