Wow, I am excited. It looks like you are both down to the wire. I envy you and wish mine was over soon. Patience is not my virtue.

Today, I had a little stress from work calls and tried to pick some low hanging apples for my mother when we go visit her - then I had a bad conscience for doing this and stopped - made DH continue, he can reach the others. But I did lay in bed some more and read a good book. Haven't done that in say a year.

Jodi - Both of my ovaries are producing eggs, not an issue. Actually, the left one where the tube is useless funstions better than the right one they said this time. But the adhesions are so painful and I often feel bloated and crampy anyway. I am still feeling in pain, slight pulling and cramping today. Must be the meds.

My mebryos usually develop well and even the frosties are fine. However, the implantation is where is usually get stuck - but nothing wrong after a gazliion tests.

Hang in there. Tomorrow is the BIG day!

Luckyone,

Hope all is going well with you! I had my beta yesterday and it was BFN :( I have to say that I admire your strength to continue to try. Gi... You too. I think for so long I was fine with not having children only because I was told that I would probably not. It was much easier to just go on with life and not re-visit these feeling over and over again. I have an appointment to see the Dr on Thursday and talk about what to do next. I think I will try at least one more time. I have found that "the third time is a charm " holds some truth with me  I sure hope it works!!

That is great that all is functioning and that the surgery was successful!

I'll Keep checking in on you guys... Take it easy!! Wishing you both tons of good luck!! Hopefully while I am going through round three you guys will be getting your baby bump!!

Hi Jodi and Gi,

So sorry to hear about the BFN, Jodi. I know you must feel down in the pits right now. I surely did every time, extremely bad for the first few times. Then, I did some research on my clinic and to see what options may be available. I discovered that my clinic has an average of 3 to 4 times before it works and that the German avergae is 5 times nationwide. This gave me some hope. I do know people where it worked the first time around. However, I do sincerely believe this is the exception, not the rule.

I just got back from vacation and immediately checked to see what is going on. Any news for you yet, Gi?

I have found that the last week flew by and I did not think about IVF or the result too much. However, the last few days are always the worst. I am cramping juts a bit and feel extremely bloated, nothing like before but then the meds are a bit different for me this time around. BBs are sore but less so than even before the transfer. My beta is on Sept. 16.

Hi Gi,

Sorry to hear that but maybe all will be fine. What was your HcG when they tested?

I am hanging in there. I should have gotten my period on Friday and usually it comes Transfer + 12 latest which would have been yesterday. Still no sign. I do feel bloated and my bbs hurt a bit but nothing really major, I have to say. I did buy a pregnancy test today. My husband was really really mad at me. He wants to wait until Wednesday. Good for him, he does not have to think about this all day long. Only two more days to go. I will try to hang in there.

Hi Gi,

Sorry to hear this. I hope everything turns out all right for you and the baby.

I have my beta tomorrow and am sooo nervous. I did buy the PT for doing at home but my DH will not let me take it. He has checked on the package I bought twice and got mad when he could not find it, thinking I took it. But I have not. He has now hidden it. I think I am going to bust if I have to wait any more time for the test. I believe I can go in tomorrow morning and will know by the afternoon. So much hope all crammed in one little day and one HUGE phone call.

Everyone that knows is excited and feverishly waiting for the results, feels like so much pressure now.

More tomorrow, I hope.

Hi Gi,

I am happy to hear everything looks good so far, although a bit early. Sending you lots of good thought. That is so exciting.

I took my Beta yesterday and my doctor called me in the afternoon to tell me we have a BFP. HcG is at 300 and I have to go in in two weeks for the US. He did not think a second beta would be needed, but I am so nervous from my prior ectopic pregnancy where the beta did not rise correctly. He seemed to think it was fine and there is nothing we can do but give it time to develop right now anyway.

I told my immediate family who knew we were doing IVF and got pulled back to earth very quickly. All said individually "well, letÄs see what happens". What a bummer. I thought they were happy for us but all just seemed to think it was so early. I am trying to not to have that pull me down too much. But in addition to my cough that keeps getting worse, it is hard right now to be happy. Not what I expected to feel with a BFP.

Hi Gi,

Thank you. I am starting to get more excited by the day, although a bit hampered by my cough.

I have checked out the other forum yesterday and will join soon, also.

Hope all is going well and I will check to see how your next ultrasound went on the new board :)
