JG - Congrats on TWINS! Woohoo! How were their heartbeats (or do you go back for that?)

We think we may have more than one based on my beta. When our son was born last year, my first beta was 316 (just 3 points higher) - and was so because we started with 3 babies, but lost two before even hearing their heartbeat.

I'm so nervous about the first sono![/b]

Mjay - Congrats on your twins! It seems this is the board for twinkies! I'm so sorry for your struggle thus far, but hopefully it will die down then you'll be able to relax and enjoy. Here's a site that will tell you your due date based upon your egg retrieval date (it's accurate):

mjay- yay! i'm glad you're here. Congrats on the twins, how exciting!!!!

cheryl- welcome! Haven't seen heartbeats yet, first u/s was too early. We're hoping to see them this Friday.

Faith- welcome! Sorry to hear about the OHSS, mjay is going through the same thing. It sounds horrible and I hope you feel better soon.

AFM- Just relaxing this weekend. I was feeling really nauseous on Friday night and threw up, but haven't felt too bad since then. Isn't it funny that I almost want to feel bad so that I feel like everything is okay? My u/s on Friday is too far away!

Another day, another blood draw. And I'm up to 1701! My first scan is scheduled for 9/22. Cant wait!!

My OHSS symptoms seem to being going down, which of course made me feel nervios because I was feeling less. i ws very relieved to see an improved number today. So far...tired and sore BB's as well as a bit emotional. No morning sickness yet..THANK GOD. I figure I dererve less of it, since I had to go through all of this.

Hope you all are doing well..

Morning Ladies,

Faith9455 Great Beta, glad to hear you are feeling better.

We went for our 1st u/s this am, i have been too worried whether its viable or not and as JG said to me if its keeping you awake at night....
I am 6 wks today and my nurse said she wasnt expecting to see much but there it was, sac, yolk and fetal pole though no heart beat just yet as its still early i know some girls see it early and others need to wait till 7 wk scan but Thank God so far so good. We can relax for another bit. Our next scan is on the 23rd (when i should have got my 1st scan) and I am going to pray sooo hard to see healthy baby and heart beat.

GI - How wonderful to see your little baby for the first time! I completely understand your fears about not hearing the heartbeat, but you will next visit. I too am getting my first scan at 6w0d, and remind myself daily not to freak if we don't hear a heartbeat. We are only doing it early because of schedule conflicts. What's the date for your next us?

Faith - Your us is right around the corner! Yeah!

Kristy - We share the same us date!

JG - Let us know on Friday after your us!

Mjay - How are you feeling? Is the OHSS under control?

Dtao - Is your 1st us scheduled?

I hope I haven't missed anyone!

AFM, I'm still super tired and am eating everything that's not nailed down. I just had breakfast, and pretty sure I'll be having it again soon! Then a nap...seems that I will now nap each time I put my son down for his.

cheryl- LMAO! i know what you mean about eating. it 's all i can think about. unfortunately, since my stomach is so full with OHSS, i can't eat nearly as much as i would like. oh, but i have big plans for the next few weeks. i have specific meals DH has promised to provide. thanks for the due date calculator. i'm already 5 weeks! time is flying.

Hi Ladies,
It's great to see so much activity on the board! I'm so excited for all of us!

Cheryl- i'm super tired too. I go to bed early, but find that I wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep. Last night it was 3 am!

gi- Yay! I'm so happy that you go to see your baby and get some reassurance. I know what you mean about the heartbeat. I think part of the reason why I couldn't sleep last night was worrying about it on Friday. When I was pregnant last time, I went in at 5w6d and didn't see a heartbeat and when I went in the following week, I did, so don't worry! I'm sure next week you'll see the heartbeat. I have to keep telling myself that too and I don't think I will be able to think straight until I see those heartbeats!

Faith- Great beta! Keep those numbers climbing!

mjay- hope you're feeling good today! That's too funny, what meals did DH promise you? I looked in my fridge this morning and nothing looked appetizing at all, so I didn't pack a lunch. I figured when I feel hungry, i'll go down to the cafeteria and get what looks good. You're 5 weeks today! Woot woot!

AFM- I'm feeling a little nauseated today and tired. I have to work all day and I have class until 9 tonight. Did I mention i'm tired? I have 11 hours to go and I'm wondering how I'm going to make it! Tomorrow is even worse, I have to teach a class at night after work. I never used to dread this kind of thing, but I am now! At the same time i'm really happy and excited about being pregnant, but I think my tiredness is starting to take over my PMA! I was up last night fretting about the heartbeats and wondering how i'm going to make it until Friday for my u/s at 6w2d. I know that there's a possibility that we won't even see the heartbeats at that point, so that makes me nervous that i'd have to wait another week too.

jg- i know exactly what you mean by the long work days. i have to go t my internship until 9pm on mon, tue and wed and that's after working all day, thursday night i have class after work. i'm exhausted just typing it. sometimes i go to my car and nap for 1hr when i just can't stand it. but i must admit i did that before i was pregnant.

my meals? i want a juicy, sloppy cheeseburger with grilled onions. i want all you can eat shrimp. i want a sandwhich with lots of mayo, cheese and mustard, i want fondue, i want a chef's salad with lots of meat and eggs, i can go on and on and on....LOL! i am soooo hungry.

Sorry I haven't been posting much anymore lately. It feels weird to be too expectant. I am 5w4d pregnant today, and my u/s is scheduled for next Thursday, which would make it a 6w6d scan. I should be seeing a heartbeat (or two). But it's too nerve wracking to think about that. I know I can fret about it until I can't even sleep at night, like I did waiting for beta.

Other than the constipation, which I've had since ER, sore (and bigger) boobs, peeing a ton, and the occasional cramp, I haven't really felt that pregnant. Since I stopped taking the Medrol, my hunger isn't 0-60 anymore either. It looks like some of you ladies are starting to get nauseous. I hope I'm not because I'm just not a morning sickness gal. My mom says she never got it, so fingers crossed that it just means I'm lucky.

School is ok. I teach freshmen, so generally for the first couple of weeks they're pretty meek. I don't think they've quite shown their true colors just yet, but so far they've been surprisingly good. Despite that, however, I am still bored. I leave early every day, on the heels of my last class in fact, to come home and think about my (hopeful) pregnancy.

In other news, you might remember I was rejected from an Assistant Principle job a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly enough, the position has been re-posted. They never hired anyone from that first round of interviews. So I am reapplying.

Hi Ladies,
OMG, I cannot take this waiting any longer! I've been having crazy dreams about seeing heartbeats and when i'm asleep, it's all I dream about and then I wake up in the morning and just lay there like a zombie trying to push it all out of my mind. Friday cannot get here soon enough, that's for sure!

dtao- Great idea reapplying for the position. Did you get a chance to speak to someone on the hiring committee the last time and find out what their reasoning was? It may give you some insight on how to handle the interview process the next go round. Just some advice, I work in a Career Center and I see "job" and have to jump in, it's an addiction or something :-). Anyway, on to another subject, have you tried fish oil for the constipation? I take 2 capsules every morning and I think it really helps. It may take a few days to kick in if you haven't tried it yet already.

mjay- I love your cravings! I haven't been feeling like eating much of anything, so I find myself just listing off a bunch of foods in my head and then choosing the one that doesn't make me want to gag. I made a whole pot of this creamy chicken and noodles from a recipe my MIL gave me and I have the leftovers in my fridge. Even though it was super good the first time, I can't even look at it without feeling sick! Yesterday I went down to the cafeteria to get some soup and I decided to get a baked potato too because it sounded good at the time. By the time I got back up here, it no longer sounded good and I didn't eat any of it!

Another long night ahead of me tonight. At least tomorrow night and Friday night I can go straight home from work and relax, so i'm just trying to think about that. Less than 48 hours to go until my next u/s.
