alli before ivf cycle?

Postby Hope644 » Sat Jan 02, 2010 2:51 am

I know this is probably a stupid question... but I will be starting BCPs for 2nd cycle in about a week or so. I had really hoped to shed about 10 lbs before starting again but haven't made it a reality. I'd like to lose a few lbs before actually starting the treatment in about 4 wks... I thought about taking alli for a few weeks, but worry that the chemicals could interfere with my cycle. I know I should ask my RE, but I thought I'd see if anyone else has asked already or has taken alli before their cycle or considered it.

and btw...

Hey Dear

Frankly speaking I am quite indecisive in this.

My two sleeping beauties are in the lab but I am not sure if I can handle another child. I feel I will ignore my Anay, but then I also think that its my responsibilty to give him sibling (if Lord plans) I think with time I will find the answer.

Planning to go back to India by the month end and who knows we both will be cycling together again... :D

Yes, the time flies, I don't how itw ent by soooo fast.

Hugs and lots of love to cutie pie!!

:) I totally know what you mean about worrying you'll ignore Anay. I worry too that Gage won't have the time with me that he is accustomed to having, that he deserves... ya know? But when I look at Gage and see what a social boy he is... he loves people... I know he will be a great big brother - if the Lord wills. :)

Plus, I admit, I feel somewhat guilty too for even thinking of trying again... I mean, I have already been SO incredibly blessed... I sometimes wonder if it's too much to ask for more.

I guess all this goes along with "Mommy guilt" - but giving it a label definitely doesn't make it any easier.

We have prayed and though it is a huge sacrifice of many different types, we feel that we'll do what we can and let God do the rest. It is His speciality, after all ;)

Praying that He leads you in the right decision for your path as well. Be well, my dear... and also send much love and hugs to little Anay... I am sure he is absolutely beautiful. :)
