Hi Sonya! Glad you can join in on the cautiously optomistic thread! I am still very worried. I turn 38 next month, so the age thing is worrying me as far as quality of the embie. We didn't do PGD or anything, so we shall see.....
My U/S is 2/19. When is yours? We transferred 3 embies (all we had on day 3) so I am very scared that all 3 took.

WEll, hang in there.... as you know, there are many women with low betas to start and have babies!

Good Luck!

Hey there! I'm not even thinking of myself as 'low' they're just on the low end of 'normal' LOL My clinic wanted to see 50 - I'm over that, and according to the charts I am just barely under the second highest group of hcgs at 14DPO. More importantly, I am doubling every 37 hours which is great. I'm actually looking forward to Monday's 3rd Beta.

Oooh I want to join in!

I was a lurker during my entire IVF cycle, and these boards are what kept me sane. Hopefully they'll do the same for the next 7 or 8 months :D

Has anyone else already grown out of their pants? I had to go get some mat. pants and a Bella Band yesterday. The Dr. said it's because one of my ovaries is HUGE, and I'm still really bloated from the Stims (I believe I was borderline OHSS (24 eggs retrieved)....

HI Everyone!
My u/s is in 2 days. I am really nervous. My clinic only does 2 betas if they are rising nicely, so I havent; had a beta since the 9th and I am sort of lost without knowing something! I don;t really feel pregnant other than sore boobs, but I think that could be from the PIO shots.

Sonya - I am so glad to hear your beta went up to 270!! that is so good. Are you going for anymore betas? That sux you have to wait until 8 weeks for the u/s? at least you will probably see a heartbeat. Whereas we probably won't and then will stress more until the next u/s when we see the heartbeat. God, it's nothing but stress and worry. I guess it will never end.

Hopefully everyone else is well and welcome to the new Oct moms!

Actually I did the math and they have me scheduled for my NINTH week! LOL Geesh. I called and asked for it to be rebooked for an earlier time, the nurse was understanding and is going to talk to the doctor and his booking nurse. I am really hoping for closer to seven weeks.

What signs are you having?

Hey Sonya!
Hope you get an earlier u/s. I would be going out of my mind waiting that long!!

I don't really have much symptoms. Every once in a while I get a wave of nausea and dizziness, but that is it. I heard morning sickness usually starts around 6-7 weeks. I will be 6 tomorrow. My boobs hurt still, but not as much as they did when I started PIO shots. My nipples (TMI sorry) are starting to change though...

What are you having?

Hi ladies. I'm Karen. Just found out I"m finally pregnant after our 2nd IVF. I see a few of my cycle buddies in this group. So damn excited to be pregnant. I can hardly believe it. First beta was 71 and the second beta (today) was 161. So all seems to be going ok. Next step is an u/s on Feb 26th. Can't wait to see the little blob!

Hey is any exercising? My RE said only moderate walking right now. I was exercising alot before and during most of my IVF cycle until ovaries got too big. I miss it. Really want to start prenatal workouts to get moving again. :D

Hi Karen! Welcome! Good luck to you.

Well, I found today I am having Twins! both sacs looked good and we saw heart flickers. I am really scared, but excited.
I will keep you all posted on the progress! I guess this is proof that 4 cell embies do take.

I guess I will be due more realistically in Sept now.

Hope everyone is well. Talk to you later!

KAren - my RE said I can do regular exercising, but no cortorsion excercises to twist ovaries. But I told him I was doing light weight-lifing and cardio stuff before and he said it was fine. I of course will take it easy, especially now that it's twins, but I am still going to do what I was doing. I guess it's up to you, but if your DR is telling you to keep it to walking, then maybe you should.
Good luck!! congrats on the pregnancy!

Anyone else have their first u/s yet? Mine is Friday, Feb 26th. I know Katie's is tomorrow? Not sure. I'm excited and nervous. Been keeping up my PMA that all is perfect and fine. I'm feeling good...sore boobs, heavy feeling, slightly tired but not too much. How is everyone else feeling?
