Postby ozlem » Fri Feb 19, 2010 7:44 pm

Hello All,
I had level 4 th endometriosis and after my third lap my surgeon suggest to go IVF route ( we have been trying 3 years) well 2008 december we had our first IVF and got pregnant with triplets sadly third heart stopped by week 8 th and i was pregnant with my twin girls until we lost tem to cold hearted IC ( insufficient cervix) at 22 weeks. After that i am not alive anymore it was a huge pain and still with us, this happend 2009 May then 2009 september we went 2 nd round IVF and got just one egg totally disaster)): protocol was same 450 IU gonal f+ 150 bravella added and last three day 0.25 mg cetrotide after 3 month we went another IVF with different clinic so this time I had BCP then Lupron 10 units 13 days then 450 IU gonal F and 150 IU Menopur well we got 11 eggs, 5 of them degenareted the other 7 was applied ICSI we had 6 fertilized embryo by day three we transferde best 4 ( one morula grade 1, 1 grade two 7 cells, 1 grade 2 6 cells and 1 grade two 4 cells) we had another BFN. NOw my doctor suggest HGH but i talked with this very famous dr Sher from LAs vegas he said growth hormone does not work i should try Agonist/Antagonist Conversion protocol, because of LH surge problem causes bad quality eggs. I am so lost. I would really aprreciate if anybody has opinion about this protocol...
thank you for all in puts((:

Ozlem - I've done the antagonist protocol. It is usually used for poor responders, myself am a high responder but was unable to suppress with lupron :? You are stimulated first then start to get suppressed with the antagonist protocol. Where as with other cycles you get suppressed first then stimulated. I believe sometimes patients get oversuppressed. I used ganarelix, which is more expensive than lupron. It is less needles which is always a plus. Good luck with your cycle :D

Ozlem - So sorry about your loss, I couldn't even fathom what you have been through. I have lost 3 early pregnancies but I was blessed with a little DD. So there is hope that our dreams can come true. I wish for my DD to have a sibling soon, I'll just keep trying it has to go in my favor eventually !!!!! Wishing you tons of baby dust your way :D
