Normal Gestational Sac Size 5w6d?

Postby DandMe » Wed Mar 03, 2010 4:23 am

When I got my early (with a mean tech) ABDOMINAL ultrasound at 5w6d, I noticed that the sac seemed to measure 11.2mm long and 3.5 mm across (not sure of third measurement). Anyhow, I was told today that the sac measured 9mm and it was exactly 5w6d. I've been doing some research but can't seem to find out if that information is correct. I was 42 days past LMP. Does that seem right?

if the formula is 30+sac size, that's 39 and really close to where I should be, especially since my little guy was a bit of a slow starter...
