Everyone is welcome here :) I am a Newbie too but these ladies are Great... :) Great Support System...
Carolyn, I am very need to the IVF world, I have not had my first transfer yet but hoping soon, I have frosties waiting for me :)

Went today for a U/S now have to wait to see what my Dr thinks... They seen either 2 cyst or two Follicles still there so they may end up being a problem, The nurse said it would be the Dr choice if we go forward or wait another cycle... Has anyone known of anyone that had follicles still go forward with a fet???

Have a great day ladies and cross your fingers I get the go ahead this afternoon:)

Got the call back from my Dr... Have to go for another u/s and bloodwork to see if I am ovulating... If that is the case then I will be delayed :( So discouraged but I am still going to think positive... If its cyst then I think the Dr will go forward we will see what happens Weds.. Cross your fingers for me Ladies.... :)

Well i got my SnS results from this morning...Estradoil level is "fine", ovaries are "fine", but my uterine lining was a 9. He wants to recheck me on friday morning. So no stims friday  always something...push me back two more days. He said i will probably start stims Sunday instead.

NOT HAPPY

I found out this morning i have to have a D&C! I was sure he would say 21 more days of birth control pills because my uterine lining was still at 9mm. He said at the end of a normal woman's cycle your lining should be 2-3mm to begin your shots and all that. But because I never have a period but maybe once a year, even though I just had a period (2 very light days) on the Lupron, he dont feel like it is ok to do the IVF. He said that with a lining that thick, i would more than likely have a miscarriage. My RE called me himself. He is a remarkable Dr with very high pregnancy rates, and medical experience. Very well known in the Dallas, TX area. I trust him. So next thursday i have a pre op appt with my regular OBGYN here. Then friday, surgery. Just when i get close to being on a roll with the stims....BAM, something to knock me back!!!! Im so upset, but i know it is the right thing to do.

Please pray for me.

Hello everyone.....I'm happy to say that I started stims tonight. Quick question for those who have been on Follistim before. My RE has me on 300iu for 3 days and then 225iu for 2 days while I take the Menupour. I then go next Wednesday for a u/s and labwork....Is that a normal amount? It seems SO high compared to others who post here. I'm just concerned about overstimulating and having awful effects from this.

Any advice would be helpful! :D I have been so busy lately and haven't had much time to post here. I hope all of you are doing GREAT!!!!

Kaylie
estimated ER is 10/12
estimated Emb. Transfer is 10/15-10/17 :) [/color]
Beta #1 - 123 :)
Beta #2 scheduled for Thursday 10/28 - 256 :)
U/S scheduled for 11/15!!! + Heartbeat. Pregnant with one little angel!

Hi Kaylie...

I am new to the IVF world but I have done Follistin already, I was started at 225 for 3 days and then when i went for the bloodwork and U/S they lowered according to my numbers... everybody starts differently Your Dr probably knows where they needed to start you and I am sure when you go for Bloodwork if it looks to high they will decrease, dont worry to much... My body took to it more then expected so I got hyper stim, but not as bad as most.. Its been almost two months and I am going for my first FET Tuesday :)

Good luck with everything.. ;)
