I know a good nutrition diet will help, and I'm drinking plenty of water so much I'm practically wearing it lol...But before I get the trigger shot and all for my IUI, my doctor would like to see a thicker lining. So does anyone have any suggestions out there? Looking for natural regimens, such as sweet potatoes (the yams), brazil nuts and maybe raspberry tea. I'm wondering if aspirin would help, I know it thins blood, but wouldn't it cause more to flow down there, hence thickening the lining? I'm just throwing ideas out there, NOT MD approved, but certainly worth asking about progesterone supp. Why is it that they recommend taking progesterone after the procedure, but not before? It only makes sense to prepare the lining before...I'm just wondering out-loud and maybe half-hoping someone might provide me a reason. xxx Sunshine1576

They upped my dose of estrogen by a lot. Also, from what I've read, non-organic dairy contains more estrogen, which is why ice cream is supposed be good for fertility. Not saying that I believe that the answer to your problem is to eat ice cream. I think it is to speak to your RE about what to do such as using more estrogen supplements.
