no, not room temperature. In your body, they would be at body temperature (37 degrees C) - so that's what temp they'll keep them in the lab, in a petri dish in an incubator.
Try looking on youtube for videos showing what they do to make the embryos, grow them and store them. There is some good info out there.
Also, you can call and talk to the nurses at your clinic. They'll be able to explain everything.
