Libby - Crap. I'm sorry that you didnt get the right answer this cycle. Theres no way around it, bfns just plain suck. Try to enjoy yourself at the wedding and have some wine, when you're ready we'll all be here to root you on for your next cycle. And that ones going to work! I know its rough, but when you've healed a bit it wil be easier to plan another try. Until then, you just take good care of you, ok? - xoxo

Franny - I think its the right way to look at this, I mean they have to try something different for you and it does seem like that depot lupron is what helps with endo. My heart breaks for how much you and Barry have had to endure and I want nothing more than to see you both get your turn already. Make your WTF appt and at least hear what the RE has to say, ok? Oh, and I hear you on hating to be hot all the time, I cant tolerate the heat either, my house is like a meat locker in the summer, lol. If only we had a way to know whether these cycles would work or not.. sometimes I cant help but mentally add up everything that we spent trying and its terrifying to do that. I wish that my old RE wasnt as stubborn as he was and told me exactly how crappy my eggs were so we could have moved on to donor embies sooner. This is hard but know that you have so many of us cheering you on and wishing you to fufill your dreams. Love you girl - xoxo

Gi - That is an awesome beta number!! I'm so happy for you!! I'm sorry that I havent been around very often latelybut I was thrilled to read your wonderful news. I wouldnt worry about lifting Kayla too much, women have been doing this forever ( yes I know not ivf women, lol) but just take care when you lift her like Libby said. Big congrats to you honey - you can relax a bit more now, lol. Cant wait to hear about your scan - roll on the 16th! You asked about Ryan's speech? I love his speech therapist, she's wonderful and he responds so well to her. She thinks he's just a late talker and she's very patient with him. He's said in the past 2 weeks with her the words "red" " doggy" "up" " beep", that may not sound like much but for Ryan to add 4 new words in the last 2 weeks, thats thrilling for me. The problem is that he doesnt talk consistantly, he can go for days not talking at all, then he'll chat all days sometimes but in jibber jabber and I've no idea what he's saying. He does understand everything you say to him ( thankfully) but his frustration level is high that he cant tell you whatever it is that he wants or needs. Frustrating for me too. I'm so envious of all the talking toddlers.. I feel like I've waited almost two years to hear what his voice will sound like, and I still dont know. At least we're making some progress lately. say hi to your mam - xoxo

So I'm just taking my estrogen shots and waiting for my lining check next Thurs. It seems so odd to me that they do my check on Oct 4th, yet my FET isnt until the 19th. I guess they'll do another one when I go out there for them to make me feel like a guinea pig for that Neupogen infusion - wont that be fun? I get to fly to the other side of the country, be there for this infusion on Sun Oct 14th, then sit in the hotel with nothijng to do until transfer on Friday Oct 19th - hmm, being able to read, relax sounds nice but what a long week its going to be! Much love and luck to us all - xoxo

Chris - Haha, I wish it were in Vegas - I'm sure I would have been able to amuse myself somehow.. nope, this clinic is in Reno - all the way on the other side of Nevada up in the mountains. Reno is big into gambling also, but its teeny tiny compared to Las Vegas. Plus paying for all these darn ivf attempts over the years has squashed any interest I may have had in gambling, lol. Funny, but after my first bfn I thought that ivf was realy similar to gambling, you know pay your money and wait anxiously to see if you win, lol. I'm kinds looking forward to a week off and the ability to get some rest. You'll see such a difference in your time with J. when he gets to walking and then running. I still cant get over just how fast a toddler can trash the house! Thoses little feet sure do go fast! Plus I see all these adorable pics of toddler girls, who dress up, pose and like to cuddle - umm.boys seem to be a bit more umm, shall we say - rambunctious? I know just how blessed we were to have this boy, but oh my, does he wear me out, lol. How are you feeling there mama?

Franny - I was reading your other thread and know that your Barry will support your decisions, he's an awesome guyand is with you through thick or thin. I know how scary, frustrating and heartbreaking the bfns are. You just have to keep fighting is all. Dont be afraid to question, nag, or be assertive with your RE. I'm sure they're frustrated also, so write a list of questions ( I have to or I forget half of them) and get them all answered before agreeing to another try. You have so many of us pulling for you girl! I mean if depot lupron and adding heparin havent been tried before with you, you never know if that was the missing puzzle piece. And yes, I do know that we'd all have been a whole lot happier and less broke if these REs could figure out our puzzle faster! I was soo mad when my 1st WTF appt I heard that your 1st try is like a "get to know you" cycle. What? And it cost how much?? Why isnt it discounted then?? Before I digress entirely, lol. My point was it couldnt hurt and may very well help. love you girl - xoxo

Gi - How are you feeling there Mum? We're all patiently waiting to hear about the next scan. Ugh, I think the 3week wait is just as bad as the 2ww. Ack, crying toddler - gotta go - xoxo

Sorry Libby, I've just been really busy lately. Then I'm too tired at night to make any sense so I keep saying I'll write tom, but you know how that gets away from you.. the lining check went great, its at a 9 and will likely be at a 12 by the time of the FET. I think they only do their lining checks so early to try to avoid cancelling someone whose lining wont thicken in time for their flight. Lots of extra planning with these out of state cycles for them. And with Leora's devastating news yesterday, it didnt seem right to post..

Gi - Any news?

Franny - Any news? Did you see your RE yet?

Chris - You are in my thoughts as always mama..

I leave on Sat, get that neupogen infusion early Sunday am, then will sit / stay until the FET on Friday. I'm going to bring Chris's laptop so I'll have nothing but time to read / post. Wish me luck because I'm running really low on enthusiasm. Of course I want it to work.. but ivf has held my life and heart hostage for way too long now. Either way I just cant do this anymore. My poor RE will be wondering why I'm just so quiet and sedate when he sees me. I just feel burnt out from all those bfns and I hate to say that I mostly think in the back of my mind "whats different this time? Why would this 2ww be anby different". I'm genaerally an optimist, but this stuff wears you out! Much love and luck to us all - xoxo

Arrrggghhh! Holy Moley - This trip has been a disaster so far.. They decided to fix electrical problems on my flight AFTER we were on it and ended up sitting on the tarmac for 2.5 hrs making me and tons of other people miss their connecting flights. But the fun continued, I couldnt get a flight out of Denver until afternoon on Sun making me miss my neupogen infusion.. grrr! So I called the clinic's emergency line and was told that the RE would get the message and wouldnt waste his Sun. coming in for nothing - and yes, you guessed it - he never got the message. Good thing it wasnt a true medical emergency, right? I got ahold of them and finally made it here last night and went for the infusion this morning. Sigh, for some reason he had the NP attempt this and not only could she NOT get into mu uterus ( its seriously tilted!) she tried cervical dilators and poked the heck out of me until I was wiggling and digging my nails into my palm to try to keep my mind off the pain she was causing me. After a bit she asked the nurse to go get catheter #3 (ugh!) and thankfully she brought back my RE instead ( bless her) My RE got it done within 5 minutes with no pain at all. Now its 3 hrs later and I'm still crampy from the dopey NP's attempts. Thr RE said that cramping wont make me lose the infusion so I'm glad I asked or I'd be stressing that. So Its Monday and I'm sooooo bored already! How I'll amuse myself here until Friday's FET, I have no idea. I figured I'd be glued to Facebook all week long- but now that I've dragged DH's laptop all the way across the darn country, FB wont let me log in because it says it doesnt recognize this device and of course I cant remember what the answer to my security question is- ugh, really? Later tonight I'll have DH log in and change my question so I can stalk and bug you girls all week, lol. Its got to get better, right? lol- much love - xoxo

Hey girls

Katie what a nightmare start to your trip!!! best of luck with transfer, fingers crossed this time xxx

Thanks girls for keep asking for me, honestly i have been reading but too nervous to post as have had tough couple of weeks. Had a biggish bleed about 2 wks ago in work went to my regular doc who did bloods and organised an early scan, i was terrified everything was over but my beta went from 1976 at 17dpo to 40,000 at 22 dpo and scan showed 3 embies implanted!!!!!!! the doc said the bleed was due to 3 implanting and just causing ructions, all had fetal poles and yolk, organised a scan for 10 days later for hbs. In meantime had 2 small bleeds (still brown spotting after using crinone daily), so went to scan on monday my mam came with me as j had to work, and we got 3 heartbeats  :D  the babies all measure perfectly on time and each on placenta, the doc. still thinks the light bleeds are just from the 3 of them snuggling in (though i am still physically ill everytime i see it). Girls i am very realistic and have been on these boards long enough to witness sad and horrific stories but i have got to believe mine will be ok till proven otherwise, i have to return in 4 wks time at 11 wks for another scan and if all 3 still ok will be refereed to high risk hosp as my local dont have facilities to deal with triplets and preterm labour, complications etc. I am scared shitless, not about having triplets will figure out money and all that please god when time comes, but scared of risk of losing them or preterm labour, my doc said i just really need to try get to 30 wks for them to have fighting chance, obviously i am only 7 wks and its sooooooooooooooo early but i will try my damn best to help these little babies and please god i have some fighters in there. But for now i am offically Pregnant with TRIPLETS  :D  HOLY CRAP!!!!!! I already look about 3-4 mths pregnant and now praying for Cervix of Steel!!!!!! Please say some prayers for my babies and that my body can keep them safe.

gi xxx oh i may try be optimistic and change my ticker!!

Gi - Oh My God Mama!!!

I am speechless. And thats saying alot, haha. You must have almost fell off of the scan table when they told you this. First let me say congratulations times 3    Are you feeling alright?? You must be having a time of still feeling stunned, although thrilling. How did J react when he heard that you'll go from a family of 3 to a family of 6? Thank God that your Mam was there with you! I know you must be feeling a little scared and unsettled, but you know that we're all wishing you to have that "cervix of steel'. I cant believe it :D And here a few weeks ago you were worried that it wouldnt work, lol, :D It worked.. ALOT! I'm so happy for you honey!! Ahhh, but to think of all those sit ups and crunches you were doing, now that will help by having your ab muscles in tip top shape. I had to read your post twice because my eyes glazed over at your news, lol. I can only imagine what went through your head during that scan, you are truly blessed honey and please, please, please take it easy, ok? yes, I realize thats next to impossible with an active toddler at home, but try your best alright? Wow, I can hardly get over this!!! Sooooo thrilled for you Gina!!!! Much love Mum- xoxo

I'm PUPO! FET went smoothly and I was excited to hear that we had 1AB hatching blast and 1BB soon to hatch blast to tranfer. RE was very pleased with their quality and called them 'outstanding". Its hard to get sucked into that again though because my last failure was with 2 "gorgeous" hatching blasts.. I'm hoping that the changes in protocol and this neupogen will give a different result this time. RE wouldnt budge on my beta though, 1st @10dp5dt and 2nd is @12dp5dt, ugh who can wait so long?? They take both and only give you the results after the 2nd one ( which drives me crazy) So official beta on Halloween. I'll see if the nurse will take pity on me and "accidentally let it slip"?? What? it could happen, lol. Off for a nap, the valiuum knocked me for a loop - much love - xoxo
