Postby Claire01 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 3:03 pm

Hi all I got a bfp!!!!!!! Now after the 2 week wait do I resume normal activity? Can I go jogging? Maybe work out a little harder then I was before during 2 WW. I am dying to go for a jog!

Congrats on your BFP! I am no doctor, but my RE's always said nothing that would "jar" your uterus until after you see the heartbeat. Like exercise, sex, nothing.......good luck with everything and I hope you can go for your jog soon! I do know many ladies on the board that did continue working out and all was well.

Hi Claire,

I'm no doctor either. But perhaps it would be best to keep a slower lifestyle until you reach 2nd trimester, or at least until a heartbeat is seen. Most pregnancy loss happens within the first 12 weeks due to multiple reasons. A low impact exercise such as swimming would perhaps be better.

Owh, congratulations on your BFP! :D
