Hysteroscopy and IVF cycle

Postby nancydiggs » Thu Aug 10, 2017 6:48 am

Can anybody please guide me on a problem that I have? I have had a very big septum in my uterus which was taken care of with hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. After a year of hectic schedules we decided to give having a baby a shot through IVF. The problem is that I have a follow up hysteroscopy scheduled next month and my IVF cycle three months later. I would like to know from you ladies whether it is possible to get positive the first time. Do I have to go through dietary restrictions or any special exercises?

7. I have been through diagnostic hysteroscopy and let me assure you that everything is going to be fine with your IVF. It is preferable that you follow a low carb and low sugar diet. Take lots of fruits, vegetables and protein. It will help to increase egg quality. You can also start taking folic acid and prenatal vitamins too. If you are over 30 take q10 also for improving egg quality. After hysteroscopy my first IVF was successful but sadly I lost it soon after.

Hysteroscopy and IVF cycle

Yes, it was definitely not easy more so because it was my first BFP. But I focussed on staying strong and moving forward and managed to get over the disappointment. Anyway here’s wishing you lots of luck for your upcoming IVF cycle.

Hysteroscopy and IVF cycle

Hello 1. Actually, I have been through hysteroscopy twice as they could not fully take out the septum fully the first time around. Anyways, I am already taking folic acid and prenatal as well. Thanks again for your advice. I’m sure it will help. And I am really sorry to know about your loss. You must have been devastated but I’m sure you’ll get over it.

Hello nancy and louise. I have been through a similar experience. Had hysteroscopy and after 6 months, went through an IVF cycle at BioTexCom in Kiev, Ukraine. I opted for a reasonable and affordable “double” package with two IVF attempts with donor eggs. It was successful the second time around. I am sure that for User too, things will go off well. Good Luck.

You are losing track of your sock accounts. You just said hello to yourself and answered your own question posted under the same sock account.

Nobody reading this thread should believe this is a real conversation.
