Unsaid words

Postby SheilaMuse » Sat Aug 05, 2017 6:26 pm

Let's talk about infertility. Let us focus on an ailment that is much regarded as abnormality. Let us talk about ourselves, the "different women".
When we were young, we were raised to believe that one of our major purposes in life is to become mothers. The shock and grief that follows the discovery that we cannot be that is unspeakable. Oh, the many days of locking yourself up.
We are the ones that get sneered, jeered and insulted. We lose friends along the way. We get cast out by our very own relatives. Some of our governments offer no refuge. Procedures like IVF are illegal in some countries.
We are the ones who wish for tantrums every passing moment. I dare say we are the strongest women on earth!!

Very well said Sheila. Yor piece touches on every aspect of our infertile live. No one should ever be subjected to what we are subjected to. All governments ought to know our plight and help us. Have you got any help for your situation? I am on my forst trimester thanks to Biotexcom in Kiev. If you still have not got any help, consider visiting this clinic. It is one of the best. Plus infertility treatments are more advanced in Ukraine..

Awesome sentiments. All are true observations. It saddens me that we have no support from majority of the people around us. They should know that we are not half human. We are fully human and we have emotions. Our feelings are barely put into considerations. We are not girls, not yet women. Owing to this we have no one to associate with aside from those who have walked in our shoes and the few sympathetic. As you said, our challenges have made us the strongest people alive. Thanks to science, we can now be mothers.

I can understand the situation of infertility. I am a new member here. I am worried about my infertility. I am the mother of 3 children. My husband wants a big family for us. This is the reason we have to go for a fourth child now. I was declared infertile after my last delivery. I have a problem with the uterus also. My husband knows all the situation. I love him a lot. What should we do now? We do not want an adopted child. Please tell me about surrogacy.

Hello girls! I'm so sorry all of us faced infertility. This forum helps me to feel better. I feel the same! I don't talk much about my infertility struggle with my relatives or friends. Even my husband doesn't know about all feelings I have inside. This is so hard to keep everything inside and don't share it with someone else. Moreover even if I share it for example with a friend I doubt she will understand how exactly I feel. Here I received so much support and so many advices which will definitely help me in my journey. I'm so grateful to this community because now I feel much better. I feel like I have hope which I didn't have for a long time. I wish everyone here all the best and good luck!
