Hello Lacey. I welcome you to this forum. Why were you miss diagnosed? Didn’t the doctor tell you? I can understand your nervousness. Stay positive and courageous. I wish that you become a mother soon. I wish you best of luck.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I don't have any such experience but hope that those who have can show support here. Take care, darling!

Hi Lacey. All these emotions are completely justified. IVF is a big step. I hope that it works out for you. You mentioned that stimulation isn't going as planned. Have you considered going for an egg donor instead? Good luck!

Hi there. I am sorry to hear about your troubles. However, you must understand. Infertility is still quite an ambigious field. There are so many things we still don't understand. It's pretty much trial and error. I hope you manage to find a solution.

Over the last few months, a friend of mine, whom I told about my infertility problem and all the treatment I have been going through, told me that she visited a doctor a while ago who treated the infertility cases in which the fallopian tubes of the patients are blocked somehow with an IVF injection. What I wanted to confirm here was if this is a safe way to carry out pregnancy..? Does it have any side effects..? Because I have been told by a doctor that any artificial method of causing pregnancy has some side effects. Some appear in the early stages while others in later. And there is always a chance that the baby itself is affected somehow. What I want to know is to what extent is this true..?

I don't know what that means. IVF does not block or unblock the tubes, but it can be an effective method for women with tubal factor infertility (non-functioning tubes, such as blocked tubes).

It is true that pregnancies following assisted reproduction are at higher risk for several issues, but the added risks are generally considered low and acceptable.

You just posted on another thread that you are 34 weeks pregnant and that is is a "miracle".
Now you say you are hoping to start IVF soon.
