Hi Girls,

Well popped into my work today to say hello, alot of you may know I was returning back to work on the 20th December, well now I ain't. I was advised that I haven't taken any holiday for this year so I can use my holiday I am now returning to work on the 05th Jan 05. I am just so happy because that means I get to spend some more extra time with Alex-Mitchell. I know when the time comes to go back I just ain't going to want to go back at all but I suppose I will have to.

Oh well must go and cook some tea now, and do Alex his dinner too.

Love
Happy Shell.

Hi Shell,

that must have been a nice surprise for you, not sure how you managed to forget your annual leave entitlement though :D . I saved all mine up and tagged it on to the end of my maternity leave too. When does your leave year begin? I'm just wondering because mine is April, and if yours is too then you don't want to return to work without any leave left to take. I don't whether Alex will be going to nursery but if he is that's when they pick up every bug going, and generally it seems to fall on the mum to take time off with them.

Well what a bonus Shell, another few weeks off, enjoy.

Hi Shell,

That's great news, what an unexpected bonus. So you'll be off work and on holiday pay - what could be better!!

Are things at home any easier yet - am keeping my fingers crossed for you, as you've been through so much and have always been so brave.

I'm quite lucky because DH is in work very early, but usually finishes at 3.30pm so can pick Jay up early from nursery, so he's not in there for long days - the only problem is that the babies all sit in their high chairs for a snack at 3.30 (it's the most adorable sight!!) so if he gets there too early Jay has not finished, and is not a young man who likes missing out on food!

Wish I had some hols left but I took mine at the beginning of mat leave instead of at the end!

Hi Sally,

Well taking each day as it comes reference DH and just trying to sort things out. Just going to be difficult over Xmas I reckon because my parents have not seen Dh for a long time and they are not speaking anyway. We usually go to my parents Xmas Day for Dinner and Tea but this year it looks like I am at home and DH will have to see. We usually have both sets of parents round Boxing Night Tea and I ain't doing it this year because if my parents and DH are not speaking I couldn't invite one set without the other.

Oh bless Jay, his he ok?

How are you?

I bet you can't wait for tomorrow because I know your off on Friday's ain't ya?

Love
Shell.

Zoe - I am just so lucky but the thing is when it comes to go back to work I really really really will not want to go back.
