Thanks to those who replied to my message yesterday. Well the bleeding has now stopped. I phoned the hosp and they said it could be redness "inside" from using the pessary and only to worry if it gets heavier.
Will keep you informed and hopefully chat tomorrow night in the chat room.
love
Elaine
xxxx

Hi all,
I wrote that I had been bleeding on and off and was worried sick. Today I have done a home test and got a positive. Its only a faint blue line but now worried I have tested too early. Stopped shoving the pessaries last night . Would these give a false result?? Not meant to test until the 20th. I had my hcg booster on the 1st Oct.
Any advice PLEASE !!!!!!

Not sure if this helps - HcG is lost from the body at 1/2 every 36 hours - so 500IU would be 250 36 hours later and so on. I think that you are only 5 days away from D-Day so I think I think its great news. And is D-Day 14 days after E/T or E/C? One question though is why have you stopped the pessaries I was told I would have to continue until 6 weeks pregnant (if I had a positive test result)

Wishing you lots & lots of ++++++++++++ve
Love
Charmaine
x
Hi Charmaine,
I was told by hospital that I was only to take pessaries for 12 days and then after that , my own body should be able to support a pregnancy. I quiered that on the phone last week and the nurse agreed with the doc.
I dont know whether its because we have male factor infertility and I am ok???
My head is even further up my arse now . I had booster on 1st. e/c on 2nd and et on 4th. I started pessaries on 2nd.
I darent phone hosp in case they shout at me for doing it early !!!

Firstly don't take any C*** from the hospital - I know what the can be like - but if you have genuine concerns phone them - that what they get paid for!!

You can test 14 days after e/c so really you are spot on that. I personally think your positive is positive and you should celebrate by drinking at least two glasses of water :)

Very pleased - enjoy

Lots of love
Charmaine
x

[Edited by Charmaine on 15-Oct-02 15:22]

Woppa
Sounds really positive so far. Even if the hospital does get snotty, what do you care if the news is good!! I'd risk it but agree with Charmaine, don't take any BS
Thinking of you
xx
