I found this site a couple of days ago luckily as I started down regging yesterday.I got married in 2002 but were trying a year before so been trying for 4 years started to have tests in Oct 02 but DHs sperm test came back and was pretty obvious why I was not pregnant,he had a count of 4 million and no motility or mobility. We do not get any NHS help at all cause icsi is not available in our area,so we where going to start egg sharing in Jan 2004 but had abnormal smear test result which put us back a year.Anyway here we are now April2005 I am on 2nd day of treatment and would love to join a thread so I dont think I am going barking mad and I can let off steam, this seams like a really good site so look forward to meeting everyone!!

Hi Tylerb,

welcome

I know what you mean about delaying things - I hope your smear was OK in the end??? I had a back op that set us back 1.5 years..

NHS treatement in the UK is really patchy and illogical, it's so unfair sweetie that you have to pay for your ICSI

still we will all get there in the end however many hurdles they throw at us
