Molly 23.....are you waiting to find out if pregnant or are you pregnant? I never had ANY symptoms during my two week wait and none during my pregnancy...no sickness, no running to go pee, no cravings, nothing...I was boring! The only way I knew was no AF and my growing belly! Don't worry if you have no symptoms...everyone is different!

I haven't had any spotting or bleeding of any kind. I guess everyone is different - would've really freaked me out!! But it's not over and it still might happen.

Did you all get these big #'s on your first beta??? In the 800's or is that from your 2nd?

I told my mom today. There are no words to discribe her emotions. She didn't know we were doing IVF and when I told her today I am pg she cried and cried and cried. SHe asked me if she could tell people and I told her she could - sooooo she has already called every sibling , aunt, uncle, grandparent and neighbor!! :D She said after 19 yrs of me being married she just never thought we would ever have children. I'm glad she is so happy.

Today my ovaries have been hurting. They feel swollen. Other than being tired and peeing a lot I really don't have any real "symptoms". My boobs aren't to sore just when I touch them. NOt sure if that's from the PIO or not.

Today’s beta was 1687, which she says, is where it should be for 5 weeks. 5 weeks!!!! I asked if there was anything I should be concerned about because of the early slow start, and she said no, that it was probably lab error. I am so relieved. I don’t think DH will believe it’s really happening until the birth. My first U/S will be next Tuesday, 2/24. It’ll be a tough wait, but hanging out with all of you makes it so much easier.

Have any of you BFPers snuck a look at your due date yet? We’re probably pretty close. On this calculator <http>, I get 10/21/09.

Carmen
Good luck tomorrow. You’re our first to get a glimpse.

I haven’t weighed myself yet, but I’m definitely bloated. To be honest, I didn’t lose every last ounce from my attempt last fall. Watch out for too much sugar and carbs – you don’t want to put yourselves in a high risk category.

Tburks
I’m hoping your enthusiasm is contagious. We definitely got more skittish telling people after two previous pregnancies didn’t come to term. It’s much harder spreading the bad news than the good.

Satilu
Good luck. I was too scared to POAS. Since you’re on IVF, rather than FET, you’ll have to wait until HCG from shot exists your system, but I don’t know the time frame for that.

Ivfbaby
You’re so right.

Dearest siouxsie: Congratulations on a beta that's soaring. I kept checking the boards periodically throughout the day. I guess they must have upgraded you to "optimistic" status. I calculated the due date when they did transfer 10/19/09. Oh and advanced happy birthday to you. You should bring baby home with nothing but a big red bow (and maybe a diaper!)

Carmen: Happy ultrasound tomorrow! I'm still hoping for twins.

Molly23: I think a lot of my symptoms are due to the power of suggestion. The mind is funny like that. The weight thing is no joke though!! I think I broke our scale then DH pointed out that it just ran out of battery.

Welcome satilu: I agree that waiting for the beta is hard. Hope that we can help you pass the time. This is my third time IVF too. So far so good.

tburk--congradulations I am so happy for you :D

siouxsie--I am happy that your number are good and strong

Molly--I was like you I had some gagging symptoms last week but the last couple of days nothing so I told my DH we should do another PIO test, as I was leaving for Target. Well, what a bad thing to say, I gagged all the way there(thank God DH was driving) and on the way back I had to stop the car and I literally threw up in my neighbors front yard by there mailbox. So from now on I will not wish for symptoms. Take it as it comes :) I guess I can wait till friday for my u/s, by the time I request another blood test it will be friday anyways.

Hi girls....sorry forgot to post....my beta is February 25th...one week and counting!!!!! I am feeling crampy though, my normal AF start date would be Friday, which I know they say doesn't happen b/c of the Prog shots....but still. I haven't had any spotting at all, which kind of worries me, but i had that last time and it didn't work, so who knows. The girls are so sore, but I think its from the Prog shots daily. I had my Estrogen and Prog blood work drawn this morning, hope all my numbers are ok!

Love to hear everyone with the "true" prego symptoms.....your so lucky!!!!

Congrats to those with BFP!! I hope it is contagious for the rest of us. So sorry to those with BFN  --I'm sure your time will come. I couldn't help it but took a HPT this AM and it came out positive! I'm afraid that the hcg (10,000u) shot is still in my system though? I took the shot 13.5 days ago? Anyone who had the shot and had a +HPT also have a +beta?? My beta is not until Friday. I don't know if I can wait that long! Thinking about taking another hpt tomorrow?!

Kiki, since it has been over 10 days I am almost positive the HPT is out of your system. Sounds like a BFP to me, but of course wait until the beta confirms it. Only 3 more days. :D

Barb, I wish I was getting sick so I would show some signs. I know I will regret saying that later. Only 3 more days until your ultrasound and I cannot wait to hear the results.

As for me I had a bad dream last night that I had heavy spotting, which scared me. I cannot believe I have to wait until the end of the month for my ultrasound. The wait seems to be forever.

I never thought I would WANT to have a pregnancy filled with morning sickness and all the other "fun" symptoms!! My mom has always told me that she never had any symptoms and I always wished that I would be the same way. Now I would love some sort of sign - haha!! I'm glad I'm not the only one stressing about symptoms though.

My BETA is still a week away (next Thursday 2/26) so I guess I'm still kind of early for any signs. I can't decide if I want to do a HPT or not. What do you girls think??

Hopefully all you BFP will start to feel those lovely symptoms soon. I told my husband that if I puke it will be with a big smile on my face!!

Good afternoon everyone, I have been following your plight for a couple of weeks and am happy for everyone who has had success. First let me say I am the husband and never told my wife about this site because I was unsure how she would react to everyone's stories. My wife and I have been married for 3 years and have been trying for all 3 of those years, we have gone through several rounds of artificail insemination and then the doc felt since we were unsuccessful we should do a lapiroscopy. that determined severe endrimetriosis. So we were going to have to do IVF. To make a long story short, today ended our 2 week waiting period and she went for the blood test this morning, we will have results at 3:50. They only gave us 30 - 40% odds of success with two implanted embryos. I have tried to stay focused on the positive, but it gets really hard to do. I want this for my wife more than anything, while I want to have children with her, I can handle it much better than she could if we didn't. In part because I have a daughter from a previous marriage. I pray to god that this works every day! All of your stories have kept me focused on the positives and has allowed me to keep my wife thinking that way as well. I just wanted to thank all of you for that.
