There is much more flexibility of adopting children with special needs.
Adopting one of these children may be a difficult decision and will
require a tremendous commitment from the prospective parents. However,
many parents find the experience very gratifying, and will sometimes
adopt a second child with special needs. Adopting parents must have
a realistic understanding of the child's problems and how to tackle
them.
