It's so frustrating! My doc said it was just genetics. Some of us are programmed to go through menopause earlier than others. I learned after I finally became pregnant with my daughter that my grandmother went through menopause at age 39. No one told me before.

Maybe Ghost will pop on here with a ...

Weezie - My sweetie gags sometimes on the stage 3 foods, too. As for the lifting, my mom traveled to Colorado with us for the IVF, came back with us, and stayed with us until I got the positive beta. She did all the lifting. I got slightly, and irrationally, jealous b/c she and my little Evie ...

Rio - We have eating trouble, too. She won't put ANYTHING in her mouth other than what she can teeth on -- I've tried macaroni and cheese, bits of banana, bread, cheerios. She looks at me like I'm nuts when I put little pieces in her mouth. She likes to play with them, though. Smears them all over ...

Oh, is that how it works? You see your ob but only a peri if there's a problem? I thought that you could also see a peri as your primary person?

Hi Ladies,

Sorry to intrude on your thread -- I recently found out I am expecting twins and I wanted some advice.

Did you see a regular obgyn or a perinatologist? I am currently seeing the obgyn who I saw for my daughter but I am thinking of switching to a specialist. Just wondering what others ...

Question for twin mommies!

Hello! I'm wondering if I should stay with my current obgyn for my twin pregnancy. I like her but I want to make sure I'm getting the best care. Could some of you twin mommies answer these questions for me please?

1) During your pregnancy were you sent to a specialist at any point? If so, was it ...

CT: That's lousy. I'm sorry. I remember what it was like getting all the delays my first time around and it is absolutely maddening. I totally sympathize with you.

Corny: Glad your husband is ok. I'm showing already, too! I am 10 weeks and am probably as big as I was at 5 months with Evie. Luckily ...

No, I just never get the flu shot. Haven't had the flu in years. I rarely get sick, though.

I did ask for the thimerosol-free shot one year but they didn't have it and by the time they could order it flu season would've been nearly over.

I'm gonna ask my obgyn at my next visit.

GHOST, what are your thoughts on the safety of the swine flu shot? Is this just like any other flu shot in terms of safety?

I am pregnant with twins (9 weeks), have asthma, and an allergy to thimerosol. I was thinking of asking my obgyn about it. I believe you can get a thimerosol-free shot, correct?

Suga, Rio, Gecko -- I'm right there with ya. I lost the baby weight but not the 10 pounds from fertility treatments. And 10 pounds may not sound like much but it seriously looks more like 25 on me right now. Before fertility treatments I was super muscular b/c I did distance running (7 marathons ...

You may be able to get a "out of network waiver" for the clinic. I went to CCRM and the clinic was in network but the lab and surgical center were out of network. My DH talked to our insurace company and they provided a waiver. They don't tell you about it but it may exist. So, the waiver means that ...

Hello!

Are you looking for examples to compare? With my first IVF there were 7 from the start and 7 (6 mature) at the finish.

This last time, there were 9 that were growing and "a few others" that were small. They never said how many. On ER day they got 14 eggs! However, only the original 9 were ...

Twins! :D

I am 6 weeks and 3 days today. One baby is measuring 6 weeks 0 days with a heartrate of 113 and the other baby is measuring 6 weeks 1 day with a heartrate of 121.

I feel so fortunate and I'm so grateful. I'm praying for their health.

I must say I'm also in a bit of shock. I kinda ...
