Sperm Donors from Europe - Help!

Postby mgbaby » Tue Jun 06, 2006 4:30 pm

We just received our "negative" results from first IVF/ICSI treatment. Looking back on Day 3, we had 5 good eggs. Day 5, all 5 were at the morula stage. 3 good / best were transferred. Studies and history lead to MF. Although there are limited tests out there for MF testing DNA issues, we are assuming that that may be the problem. DH is going to have an SCSA test done soon just to see the range of DNA fragmentation. I suggest this test prior for those considering ICSI due to MF.
We are meeting with our Dr. next week to discuss next steps. I am doing my best not to get stressed so best way is doing research. Find answers and options. Should we need to rely on donor sperm, that search is already under way. For several reasons we want to find donors from Mediterranean region. Information is limited. The only places we find is from Scandinavian.

Any information on finding donors from Mediterranean countries would help.
Like most couples, it is important to know about the donor's genetics, medical history, physical attrubutes, educational qualifications, etc....
