Essex Fertility Clinic:need your opinion please

Post by Anie »

Hello.

I live in Chigwell,Essex and was wondering if is there anybody who had treatment in this clinic. What is the staff like and....any information that makes me feel that i'm (and my husband) in good hands :)

I choose this clinic because it seems to be nearest to my house.I still need to make my first appointment with the GP to talk about this and see what clinic he suggests.Just the thought of it is already making me nervous and streessed.

Don't even want to think about all that streess when the treatment starts...

Oh....forgot to give little introduction: im 31,hubby is 33 and this will be our first child(when it happens, that is...).We haven't tried that much for a baby and the problem is exactly that:he can't get an erection and ejaculate :(

Sorry if it is too much (private)information....

Thank you in advance to everybody who replies!

Hi Anie,
I'm presuming you mean the Essex Fertility Centre at Buckhurst Hill? If so I am there. The staff are lovely and friendly and make you feel at ease (as much as you can when going through IVF!!).

I've had one fresh IVF cycle and one frozen, unfortunately neither were successful. However, their success rates are pretty good and they really try to use blastocyst transfers wherever possible (more chance of them implanting).

I'm probably going to go back in July for another FET, our last attempt. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know. Hope this helps a little.
