Holy moly! I worked from 2-10 yesterday, and I came back and the posts are in abundance!!! Good for us!! I'm gonna try to catch up
Babyloves~ We got a black lab mix. He is sooooo cute! he definitely keeps me busy. My husband and I love shepards too, but I had a few growing up and they are very tempermental, so you have to be careful with kids.
sonu~ Thanks for the words of encouragement with dealing with the negative people around me. It truly is sad. This board has really kept me going. You are right that people don't understand what we are going through. I still have people at work saying "you have to go home to do that shot AGAIN? How annoying that must be". UGH So true that you ladies are the only ones that truly understand, as you are going through the process as well. Sometimes even DH doesn't understand. He wants to know why I am sleeping all morning. Gee I don't know could it be that #1 I'm pregnant, or maybe #2 the fact that I get up to pee 36 times per night. This site is a breath of fresh air....thanks ladies
Amazu~ Have a wonderful weekend. However it unfolds, I'm sure it will turn out to be just fine. I like the part about the DH doing the cleaning
I know what you mean about women who don't even want to get pregnant having babies. My issues with infertility began in 1998, and at the time I was working for NYC EMS. I can't tell you how many women I would pick up that would tell me they were pregnant with their 9th baby and they were so annoyed about it. It would turn my stomach! I am currently teaching EMT and paramedic programs and one of the girls left my class 3 nights ago because she "was having a very bad period". I come to find that she went and had an abortion and was uncomfortable. It is truly amazing. I thank God every day for my 2 DDs and I would consider myself 3xs blessed if I was fortunate enough to love another baby.
tjspry~ CONGRATS on your BFHB (can I make a new abbreviation~ Big fat heartbeat!!!!!) That's wonderful!!! How far along are you? I agree with you about telling people before the 12wk mark. My feeling is that if nobody knows, and God forbid things don't work out, then you have that entire support system. If you don't tell anyone, and you are suddenly withdrawn and upset, it's harder for them to understand. Either way, it's whatever each person is comfortable with.
Quick question... I love the little baby time lines you have. I would love to start one, but I am only 5w3d. Do most people wait until the u/s is confirmed, or is it ok to start it now?
