My story

Postby jackoa21 » Wed May 20, 2009 2:12 am

So let me start by saying that this post is meant to offer hope to anyone who is on this crazy roller coaster. When I needed support this group of amazing women helped to pick me up and keep me going when I wanted to quit...

Terri,Aunty,Carolyn,Laura,Macca and Em and Jessica I miss our daily talks...This board was amazing helpful to me and for me whenever I read another womens story it gave me hope and made me feel strong for all the support I had from this group...So here it goes....

I met a wonderful man and fell in love. Got married and like most couples decided "lets have a family" after trying for months and nothing worked I went to a doc and was diagnosed with PCOS. I went on metformin and clomid and did a couple IUIs to no success. Than I got to IVF, all the while the women on this board were providing help when I was confused and hope when I was scared. We got pregnant on our IVF cycle however a week into the pregnancy things went bad and we lost the baby. I grieved and cried and came her for support. Which I got in leeps and bounds. I started going to an accupuncterist as I had heard possitve things on how they can help. I found out about 6 weeks later that I was pregnant on my own. My daughter Kennedy was born May 3rd 2007. When she was a little under 8 months old I found out I was pregnant again however sadly I lost that pregnancy too. Than about 3 months later I was pregnant again and things went well. I found out at 10 weeks that i was spontaniously pregnant with twins.. We were shocked, scraed and excited all at the same time. My boys were born on halloween 2008. Their big sister was 18 months old.

The reason for this post is to offer hope and to offer my strength to all of you. This group of women is amazing and what we do for one another without ever meeting is incredible. I am so proud to be a part of this group and I pray every day you all find happiness in whatever comes your way..

Hi Jackie,

Sometimes I feel there in no light in sight in the tunnel, but your story has confirmed that there is a light, we all need to keep moving on, until we see the light. Stay Bless and Big Hugs to your children and Hubby.

Oh Jackie! SNAP!!!!!

Its so funny that from the very first moment we cycled here together all those years ago, neither of us would have any idea that we would both have our arms so full!

As you may remember, I became pregnant with twins at the same time as you did with Kennedy and my boys were born in June 07. Then I got the shock of my life when I fell pregnant with a baby daughter when the twins were 5 months old.

So now we both have twin boys and a daughter all under 2 years of age!!!! Its is so great to read you agrain and to know that I'm not the only crazy one with three under two!

If you get a chance, there is a great forum I go to called MWW which is for Multiple Mummies and there are a lot of us who have many little babies at once. Here's the link: www.multiplicityworldwide.com Its Aussie based but there is a load of US and UK mum's joing everyday. Perhaps i might see you there.

Congratulations on your wonderful family and big pat on the back for getting twins on your own!

Much love,

Dolce.. It's been forever.. How are your beautiful babies doing? I have not been on here in forever but I wanted to post my story and to check up on all of you wonderful women.. I would love to see pics

I know its amazing that when we were in this crazy journey a couple of years ago we had no idea where we would end up. I know you are the same as I am and we feel so lucky and blessed to have our families.. I am going to check out that board right now..

Hugs to everyone
