Hi girls,
It's been ages since I posted over here as I have been accessing the bumpstomums site more than this whenever I get time (where Jules and Shell visit), and working, and looking after Jay, so time is a bit tight to say the least!
Debra - How are you - I noticed that your cycling again - best of luck hon - thoughts and prayers are with you. How is Maya getting on?
Hi Jo - have been wondering how you are - how is Alice and work? I have to log on when I can at work too and know how difficult it is to sneak on!
Tracey- Happy belated birthday to the girls - how lovely to hear from you at long last. Did you go back to work? What's happening with you? Jay's now 20 months old. He only started walking properly at 18 months and now there's no stopping him - he's nearly running and can dance and kick a football! So cute - loads of white blond curly hair, big blue eyes and 12 teeth (with 4 canines coming at once at the moment!). he's at nursery 4 days a week which he loves adn has 2 girlfriends - one of whom is called Maya! re Food. He eats pretty much similar stuff for lunch and tea - ie pasta or couscous with roasted vegetables and tomato sauce, spag bol, fish pie, lamb and bean casserole, lamb curry, chilli, thick veg soup and toast, risotto, macaroni cheese, bangers and mash. whenever I cook something at home for me and DH, I either do loads and freeze portions in pots for Jay, or save some to heat up for him the next day. At weekends we try to eat together and go out a lot with him at lunchtime, but in the evenings he is starving for tea at 5.30 and we don't eat until 7.30. For pud he has sponge and custard, fruit and yoghurt, fruit and ice cream, cheese and crackers, etc.
Love to you all and your gorgeous miracle babies!
