Get tested for Celiac Disease. I went through 9 rounds of IVF with 5 positives and one healthy baby. I was just diagnosed with Celiac disease and never knew there was a connection. My gastroenterologist said everyone with fertility problems should have Celiac testing done in their initial blood work! After everything DH and I have been through including many failed adoptions and a not so good foster care situation, we are considering IVF again because of my diagnosis. And I had NO SYMPTOMS other than hair loss and some weight loss. I just dont want this is happen to anyone else if a gluten free diet is an easy fix! Do some research and get tested!

I know this is an old post from me, but I just wanted to give an update. After being diagnosed with Celiac disease my body changed. I was less tired and the weight loss and hair loss stopped after going gluten free. My menstrual cycle changed and after about a year DH and I talked about trying treatments again. We talked with RE and asked to do IUI just to see if it would work. They gave me a 5% chance. So here I am, almost 2 years later holding my new beautiful son who is three months old! It worked the first time! Please everyone...get tested for Celiac disease!
