Re: Totally Blessed

Oh my gosh, I absolutely feel the same way. I thank God everyday and am so grateful to now have our baby boy. We struggled for 3 years to have a baby, which is a short period of time compared to some others, but it was such an emotional struggle. I, too, would love to help as many people as I can ...

Re: Spring 2010 mummys

Hi there tortillachip, so glad to see that everything went well with your delivery, etc. Our little boy is a little over 17 pounds now, 26 1/2 inches. He will be 5 months tomorrow. At his 4 month appointment, he was showing to be in the 80th percentile for height and weight, so I suppose he is still ...

Re: Spring 2010 mummys

Just thought I would join your thread... Our little boy was born 3/3/2010 and weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs 4 oz. He is just over 4 months now and just so interested in everything. He has been sleeping through the night for about a month, so we are super-lucky. Especially considering he is still ...

Re: March 2010 Mommies

Just a quick update as I am exhausted... Owen Robert was born on 3/3/10 at 9:10 am, 10 lbs. 4 oz., 21.5 inches. We are home now and getting to know one another. He is happy and healthy, could not ask for anything more. Will write more later.

Re: How much was your FET???

That does sound high to me.. In looking back at my receipts, (we did 2 FET's), they were both around $1,800.00. My insurance covered the estrogen pills and PIO shots, so the $1,800.00 was our only expense. Good luck to you!

Re: March 2010 Mommies

Hey ladies, just checking in... We had our final u/s yesterday at 37w5d, and our boy was estimated at 9 lbs 2 oz already. They have scheduled me for a c-section on Wednesday of next week, right at the 39 week mark. Doc said it simply wasn't worth the risk to attempt vaginal delivery with a baby this ...

Re: Beta Numbers

Hey there... Try to stay positive... It is possible that perhaps both of your embryos took intially and then one of them didn't make it causing the bleeding. I know this is a crazy roller-coaster of emotions, but stay strong.

Julie - congrats on your baby girl!

Sabi - I hope everything goes well for you this week.

As for me, I'm still holding steady. Will be at 36 weeks tomorrow. Baby is already estimated to weigh over 8 pounds, so OB has been preparing me for a C-Section. We have another U/S scheduled for 2/22/10 to ...

Hello all... Still going strong here as well. Trying to get to week 34 as doc says anything beyond week 34 for us is gravy. I would like for our little boy to stay in there until 36 weeks if possible, so keeping our fingers crossed. As of my last u/s a few days ago, my cervix has not shortened or ...

Hi Ladies, sorry I have been absent for a while. This time of the year is absolutely crazy at my job, so I've been trying very hard not to let it cause me undue stress and anxiety. We are still moving right along with our pregnancy. Our little boy is measuring about 2 weeks ahead (at least he was as ...

Hi Brooklyn, just wanted to pass along that I was the candidate that Ghost described. I was a high responder and my DH had poor sperm quality, count, motility, etc. We made the decision to use his sperm if possible, but we had donor sperm shipped in for back-up. I had 41 eggs retrieved, 33 mature ...

Ladies, I just want to tell you all that it will get better. I, too, went through a very similar experience last year. We lost our twin baby girls due to pre-term labor at 19 weeks. My water broke at the house and we lost both babies later at the hospital because they were just too small. They were ...

Hi there, I was actually on PIO shots through week 14 and did vaginal suppositories through week 16. I did an FET and because of my history, the RE kept a close eye on my progesterone. He started weening me from the PIO shots to a lower dose of vaginal suppositories and eventually to nothing at all ...

I have been more tired here as well. I think I have been asleep the past 4-5 nights by 8 - 8:30. My little one has definitely started to make his presence known as well. He seems to be most active in the evenings from about 7 -9 pm. What I can't yet discern is if they are kicks, punches, head-butts ...

moorebaby - wow, I can't begin to tell you how similar your story is to ours. My DH also had undescended testicles and had surgery at the age of 3 to correct the situation. Prior to doing the actual IVF procedure, we had his sperm tested twice to determine count, motility, morphology, etc. Both ...
