Re: Ivf is not working why.. Please help

Tinker, sending good thoughts your way!
I have known several people who have gone through a few cycles in order to get a successful one. Hopefully this will be it for you!

Thanks, ladies!
Liz, I'm not sure if it was the pills or the pregnancy that gave me the nausea--I assume it was the meds since the nausea has eased up ever since I cut back on the meds.
I actually think it may have been the Vivelle (estrogen) patches; they finally had me stop those because my ...

Anxious

Has anyone else had this happen? I had tons of nausea and cramping all last week, and was really tired this past weekend. But this week, I'm not really feeling nausea or cramping or tiredness. I'm now 7w3d.

I do know that my Estrogen levels were so high (in the 2000s!) that they took me off the ...

I was really stressed, too, before my ET! I was panicked about whether I should get accupuncture--but I hate needles, so I called my RE. She said she only really recommends it when you have blood flow issues, so I didn't do it.

I transferred two 5-day blasts, and am now 7wks pg with a singleton!

I had 12 retrieved, 10 fertilized, 5 made it to near-perfect 5-day blasts. I transferred 2 and froze 3, and now am 6w4d pg with one little bean!

Good luck!!

Another question--are you actually going through In Vitro (IVF), or some other kind of fertility treatment? I ask because you mentioned releasing your eggs, and in IVF, they are retrieved.

There are different exercise recommendations for different treatments. You should check with your doctor!

Congratulations!
My doctor told me to switch to pre-natal vitamins before the retrieval, because it is important to get enough folic acid.

Also, once I started the stimulation medication, I was told to cut back on exercising because my ovaries were getting really big--they are still big, and I am ...

I had the exact same problem--I even got a little rash right at the site. My RE said it was fairly common; after about 5 or 6 days, I stopped getting a rash and was only a tiny bit itchy, but at the start it was dreadful!

Liz, I was getting pretty bad cramps at night, too, then was fine by the morning. I was worried about ectopic, b/c I've had two. BUT, I had my first u/s yesterday and have one little bean in exactly the right place. My IVF nurse said the pain is probably from my still-enlarged ovaries from the ...

I have the same pains, which is panicking me because I have had two ectopics on the same side that the pains are on.
However, I called my IVF nurse, and she said it is most likely still residual pains from the enlarged ovaries I got from stimming (apparently they grow as big as lemons!!). There ...

I go to CCRM as well. I actually started with Dr Minjarez, who is wonderful! It doesn't really matter who you get, I don't think--they have different "on call" days. So I actually had Dr Surrey for my retrieval and transfer, even though I had Dr Minjarez for everything else.

He retrieved 12 eggs ...

Oops, sorry, didn't notice the other part of your message. We've been TTC for about 16 months, but I've had 1 chemical and 2 ectopics, so IVF was our best option.
