Seems very quiet on this tread. I just stopped by to see how everyone is doing. Time seems to be ticking by without any dramas which is nice for a change. I hope everyone is doing OK.

AFM I am on the last leg of what seems like a very long journey!! Can't wait until the end. Not long to go now. Am ...

Firstly let me say I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a baby at 20 weeks is very difficult. I hope you are doing OK.

I had placenta abruption at 23 weeks with a previous pregnancy and it was accompanied by bleeding which I understand it usually is. I was put on bed rest but told that ...

Not necessarily. You can get varying pain with an eptopic - from really sever all over the abdomen area to nothing at all. I would go to the doctor and ask for a scan as soon as you can. If you do have an eptopic you want to avoid your tube rupturing so the sooner they pick it up the better.

Marina I am so pleased that everything is looking so great! That is wonderful news. And I am happy you are feeling the baby moving - that makes it easy to stay relaxed. I hope you are taking good care of yourself and resting lots!

I have been told that the nuchal fold test is a lot more reliable than the triple test (blood). Hopefully your obgyn will reassure you tomorrow. Remember you have a WAY higher chance that the baby is fine than that it is not.

It can be totally normal. I get bad ligament pain very early in my pregnancies. But it can also mean something is not right. You probably need to see a doctor and have a scan to rule out eptopic (sp) pregnancy.

Good luck

I didn't see a h/b until about 7 1/2 weeks. But at my 6 week scan they could see a sack and a fetal pole.

Good luck.

Lyly that is great news about the baby. Congratulations on it being a boy. I am feeling really relieved for you that the baby is all fine and you could rule out having an amino. But I am sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope she starts doing better soon.

Marina when is your next scan? It is good now that you can feel the baby move around - it is very reassuring.

Marina I really wasn't confident it was the baby until the 22 week. With my first I felt it at 18 weeks and knew it was the baby.

Lyly not long to go now before your scan. I hope it all goes well. I had a friend who had the same as you and went for her 20 week scan and they advised her against ...

I am in agreement with both Rinnie and angram - I kind of see it as a type of insurance. With medical developments the way they are things could change a lot in the next 10 years. If I never use it or if it gets surpassed by something else well so be it but if someone in my family needed it and I ...
