theyre the same thing just different brand names; but i dont know if the units are equal...you can ask the nurse/dr. OR if you can get some gonal-f for free; maybe you can ask the office to prescibe gonal-f instead of follisim ??? Best of Luck!

I think IVF is more of an art than a science as everyone responds differently. My friend's doctor wanted to cancel her retrieval because he only saw a few follies on the u/s. But she went ahead anyway, retrieved 11, had some embies to freeze, got pregnant (but unfortunately miscarriage)....go figure ...

Hi Ert, Ok I guess IUI really isnt a great alternative.
So Why are you considering forgoing this cycle...money, anesthesia, something else?
I see you mentioned having to go under for the retrieval. Are you afraid? Did you have a bad experience with anesthsia? I know everyone is different but from ...

I am happy to have found this thread. I was feeling like the only one going thru unexplained. All my friends suffering from infertility and those that conquered it dont really understand. They think I am lucky that the docs havent found any issues. Lucky? Arrgggh
