Do you think the antagon disrupted the final maturing of my eggs then? I took it 27 hrs prior to the HCG shot, which I didn't have at all the first time. I know I felt different after that: less bloated, no more cervical mucus.

So I had my egg retrieval the other day, and I'm really disappointed to have only retrieved 4 eggs out of all the good follicles that were growing. Even my doctor was surprised.

Lyd, do you live in a state where insurance covers your treatments? Otherwise, how do you afford it? I'm already in it over $24K. Well worth it when it's successful, but I don't know how much we have it in us if not.

Transfer is tomorrow at 11. I asked to see if we could get them in today, but was told that's not done. I'm so scared!

Only 2 have made it so far. I can't believe this time actually trying to do IVF would yield such disappointing results. The first time we were going for IUI, which was converted to IVF.
