Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - I've been MIA for over a week and this thread just goes crazy! Thankfully in a good way!

I'm at work right now so I'll just give an update and then hopefully get to personals in the next day or so.

I have had a rough couple of weeks. I had about a week where I had a migraine every ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - it sounds like things are really starting to hop on this thread.

Sonya - Again, I am so sorry. I too have been in your shoes (as a result of clomid pregnancies) and it is hearbreaking. I will completely understand if you need to take a break from this thread. We will support you no ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Sonya - I was so heartbroken to see your post. I know how long you had to wait for the u/s and then to get this news. I am so sorry - I know that very few words can help right now.

Did they give you any indication of what could have caused it and/or what next steps might be?

Ashley

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

OK ladies - I need voices of reason. So I have been pregnant before and heard about all the things I'm not supposed to eat. And for the most part with my DS I stuck to the "rules". So today I'm at work and had a stressful morning that culminated in not eating lunch until 1:00. My boss and a co ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - just a quick post before I head to bed. Regarding betas mine were pretty high. At 12dpt6dt I was at 1580 and at 15 dpt6dt I was at 4337. My nurse cautioned me at the time that it might not be twins so I was pretty surprised at our first u/s. The only way I kind of had a clue is that I ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Stephanie - I am certainly not an expert on due dates but this is what I understand. If others have heard differently I would be interested to get other input.

Natural pregnancy - based on 40 weeks past the first day of your last period. So regardless of when you actually ovulated/conceived, they ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - I too have been MIA for a few days. I had been checking the board but there weren't many posts and then I got busy because we finally had some nice pre-spring days to enjoy.

Katie - I am so glad everything is OK with you. I, like others, was terrified something had gone terribly wrong ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - sorry for being MIA this week. I've been pretty busy at work and feeling very anxious about my u/s tomorrow. I have no reason to be worried other than the fact that this is the same time period that I had all of my miscarriages so I think I'm just ultra paranoid. I've been feeling pretty ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hazel and Karen - thank you for the advice. The funny thing is that I had NO symptoms with my DS. I wouldn't have even known I was pregnant in the beginning if I hadn't had a u/s at 8 weeks. So this is quite a change. And my poor DH doesn't even know what to do. I basically get home from work, eat ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi everyone - I too have been MIA. I have had a rough few days just generally not feeling well. I still haven't gotten physically ill but remain nauseous most of the day. What stinks is that I am always hungry but have a hard time finding food that doesn't make me feel like I am going to puke (TMI ...

Re: October 2010 Mommies!

Hi everyone - I have been posting to Katie99's Winter 2009/2010 thread but thought I would put something out here too. Like a few of you I am also expecting twins - October 7th is my due date. I "know" several of you already and am so glad that things are working out for many of us.

So far I have ...

Katie - yay to the sac and dot!!! Doesn't that sound funny? :D I guess it's the little things with IVF.

I'm can't wait to hear your update next week - hearing the heartbeat for the first time is something words can't describe. I was 6w6d when we saw the heartbeats last week and I think they can ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - well I went to the OB today for my initial visit. It was fairly uneventful but she did give me some good information about have twins. For one, she said that many women pregnant with twins stop working by 28 or 30 weeks. Now don't get me wrong, I would love that but I also want to work ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

Hi ladies - so I had another case of the "eaten" post this morning. I'm not sure if the old version of the board was like this but if I type some and then am idle for a few minutes, when I try to submit I lose everything. I keep trying to remind myself to copy the post before I submit in case I lose ...

Re: Winter Cycle Friends 2009/2010 - Everyone Welcome!

So I am finally moving over to this board. I actually wrote a reasonably long post this morning and lost the whole thing. It's taken me this long to get over being frustrated and try again. :D

I'm still trying to get over the shock of having twins. While we knew it was a very good possibility and ...
