Karen - My RE says to stop progresterone at 10 weeks, but my OB told me to continue until 13 weeks, which is what I'll do. Can't hurt to continue longer (other than the cost and the trouble of it).

I had my first OB appointment yesterday and he agreed to do an u/s in two weeks - whew! It's going to be a long two weeks (seems like we have a lot of those)!

My initial betas were good last time too. First was 600-something at 16dpo, so that's wasn't any clue. I think the chances of m/c go way down after a heartbeat is detected, but we just weren't lucky. Everything happens for a reason though!

I don't know what my beta numbers were like at that time. I didn't even know anything was wrong until we tried to hear the heartbeat at 12 weeks. An u/s showed that development had stopped around 9 weeks. I was on progesterone, so my body hadn't figured it out. Definitely going to push for an u/s ...
