Pafa, yes Im having a boy :D we are thrilled!! although a girl would have been just as well....i found out about 3 weeks ago at 15 weeks....do you feel a lot of movement? i sure do lol...glad you had a great time in hawaii when you came...the best place for macadamia nut pancakes is Boots and Kimos ...

so sorry to hear this....in 2008, my baby's heart stopped beating too at like 10 weeks...i stopped all meds and waited 2 weeks and nothing happened..i ended up having to get a d&c....sorry this happened to you.

i went to my OB at 15 weeks and asked him if he could use the doppler to let me hear the heartbeat and he said 'no, its too early'....maybe he could have found it at that point but he knew that if he couldn't, it would throw me into a panic also so he just said no....i agree that some OB's just don ...

rayofsunshine- do you have to do a step parent adoption to be the legal parent of the twins? a friend of mine used DE and she never mentioned step parent adoption to me...just wondering if there is something she doesn't know about..

i have the sonoline B also and i used it at like 10 weeks and thought i was listening to baby's HB....the doppler was saying 125 BPM but my hubby said it sounded slower than that...so we counted the beats for 15 seconds and multiply by 4....and it only came out to 88 BPM! i was horrified and worried ...

i think that heart rate sounds fine...my dr said normal rate is between 120-180 bpm....also i heard those home dopplers are not always accurate in counting the beats...i have one too and its not that accurate for me either...you should start feeling movement soon and that will also reassure you...

i had mild cramping almost the whole first trimester....and my 2nd beta didn't double either...im glad everything is ok
