I need some help with all the abbreviations on this post. I'm new to the IVF would. We just started talking about it as an option, so I'm just trying to get some feedback from women who really did this, not just the doctor who can make anything sound good. Thanks!

This was such a sweet post. We have not started with IVF yet, but we had a miscarriage last year. So many people expect you to move on quickly, as if the fact that you never got to meet them meant you didn't already love them that much.

My dr told me prices start at about $5000, USD. She said this is if we need no donor eggs or sperm. Our insurance covers fertility treatments, but the ins. company also requires the dr to contact them and basically say that they have tried everything else.

Thank you so much for this board! It's such an encouragement. My husband and I are just starting to consider IVF and this is really great. We are praying so much. I'd love to just wake up tomorrow and the dr say, you don't need this, you're already pregnant.
