Re: New

Hi everyone!

Sorry, I've been staying off the boards because I was scaring myself--I was comparing how many eggs everyone got to mine, noting all the positives I've met so far were male factor and my problem appears to be my egg quality (who'd have thought at 31?!), and just stacking everything up ...

Ladies-

I'm so far behind! I'm here and reading your stories but am working way too much so I don't get on every day or reply as often as I'd like, but I think of all of you often and send many hopeful thoughts and prayers your way. It's difficult this work thing--if I quit, I can't afford IVF, but ...

BFN

Trying to decide to go into next cycle or take a break....they are adding growth hormone and upping my meds (I was already doing 300 Follistim and 2 Menopur powders!!!!).

Did you all take BCP for your cycles or not?

Thinking of all of you. Will write more, but for now, going to bed.

Re: New

My Valentine's Day consisted of my parents flying in to visit for 2 weeks (my poor DH), me working a 13 hour day, my husband breaking his finger, and my dad starting a fire in my oven. My beta is tomorrow. I took a home test today that was negative, and though I know I have to wait for the official ...

Re: New

So they added prometrium on to my regimen (along with suppositories 3 times a day that I was already on)--this 2ww is pretty lame--started to feel a little negative but I think it's all the extra progesterone and estrogen I'm pumping in to my body. I wish I could know NOW (and have a glass of red ...

Re: New

Hi Ladies-

Had bed rest for 2 days after the transfer and took an extra day off of work just to relax (and catch up on laundry). I THOUGHT bed rest would be relaxing but man--it gets uncomfortable doesn't it? Go in tomorrow for a blood test for estrogen/progesterone (any of you know if those ...

Re: New

So you're not eating a ton of cabbage--just a cup of tea! And I had a VERY speedy recovery from the retrieval.

As for our transfer, the embryos had NO growth from day 2 to day 3, but they put them in anyway. 4 cell grade B, 5 cell grade C, 2 cell with no grade. So things don't look great, but ...

Re: New

Tomorrow's the day! So as of today we have a 4-cell grade B and a 5-cell grade C and one of the originals is now 2 cells...hopefully they hang on to get back inside my uterus! I know the odds aren't great with the quality, but hey, it isn't a beauty contest and I've heard plenty of stories of people ...

Re: New

Update: The 2 that were immature fertilized today--if all goes well we'll be putting them back in on Friday. They aren't going to check them tomorrow (don't want to move them), and they'll give us a call Friday morning if it's a yay or nay. Odds aren't as good since the eggos matured outside of my ...

Re: New

Where did everyone go??

So, this morning they told us that no eggs fertilized. Then I got a call at 1pm saying that 2 eggs had blastospheres which means they haven't fertilized yet but might, and 2 of my eggs that were not mature are now mature and they did ICSI with those today. So basically, we ...

Re: New

So we had 8 eggs retrieved, but their quality was "concerning". I guess we'll find out more tomorrow. I'm a little upset to hear my eggs didn't look so hot, but they didn't have much to tell us. The procedure wasn't too bad--have some cramping and stuff--hope I can make it through work. I stand up ...

Re: New

So do you think it's the drugs that are keeping us from sleeping, or is it the excitement/nervousness/stress of this whole thing?

Tomorrow's the day.....I'm nervous mostly about if we'll have eggs, and if they'll fertilize, and if we'll get pregnant, blah blah blah, but also I get freaked out about ...
