Hi Gem,

I had really bad stomach pains on my first cycle, so bad I ended up going to A & E at 4.00 am - and a couple of windeze later I felt much better and very silly

If you think of all the poking around they do at EC, it is not surprising some air gets trapped inside you.

The good news is you ...

Hi Sarah,

Just to let you know you are not the only one from September waiting to cycle.

I don't see my consultant until 27/01/04. so the earliest I can cycle is in Feb, which realistically meant ET in March - which is, as DH pointed out last night is 6 months since the last cycle.

Chin up - at ...

urgent help needed - positives that fade away

Hi Jay,

I have only had 1 m/c, and 5 failed cycles, but I have just seen Mr Rai at the recurrent m/c clinic at St Mary's in London, as repeat IVF failure is similar to repeat m/c. I had numerous tests, one of which was for blood clotting. I got very confused but my levels of whatever were 2 ...

Hi Kathryn,

just thought I would jump in. You are right, you won't need many of the tests as you will probably have had them before. I only had 3 lots. It is primarily a recurrent m/c clinic so the info is based on that. Have you got your consultation date yet?

Karen

Hi Kathryn,

I saw Dr Raj Rai. I had thrombo-something or other testing, anti-phospholipid test and DH and I had chromosonal tests. The anti-phospholipid test has to be repeated 6 weeks after the original as the levels rise and dip over this period so you could have a -ve the first time round ...

query re huge number of eggs

Hi Becky,

I have PCOS and mild endo and on my last cycle got 29 eggs. I'd had some extra drug which matured them and ended up with 9 blastos, of which 7 were frozen, so you should be ok. Sadly none of them wanted to stick, so I'm now looking into immunological issues for my next cycle.
<br ...

Hi Debb,

I think you are reacting perfectly normally for someone in such a difficult situation.

We spend our early lives running away from those nasty sperm, and then when you find out that it can be so difficult to make a baby, dealing with other people (naturally mainly women) who ...

Hi July Ann,

Just wanted to say good luck with your future treatment.
