I understand the difference but I think that the latter is quite complicated and I can’t find any reviews/ comments, it looks like a new procedure.

I see why he offered you the cytoplasmic transfer but I don’t understand why cytoplasmic transfer and not simply mitochondrial donation? cytoplasm carries donor’s genes while mitochondria don’t.
