Hi Olina

Ever the optimist, I'll be secretly hoping for a natural conception. Unfortunatley DH's sperm count is practically zero so it would be a miracle if it works!! Its therefore ICSI for us - should be starting next February. I do feel more positive about it. Have already started eating healthy ...

Hi ladies. I've just had my left tube removed as it appeared to be a hydrosalpinx during my last treatment. After having a BFN at the beginning of May the consultant said that he didn't really want to go ahead again without removing it. I was really upset but reluctantly agreed. It took 3 hours to ...

Hi Nicki, well done to your DH. Just had to pop in and add my words of encouragement having been in a similar situation. DH was told that he had 0 sperm after submitting a sample to the GP, he had a biopsy and the urologist said that he had sertoli cell only syndrome and our only hope was to use a ...

Hi Sue, I had a fluid filled sac show up on one of my later scans and the consultant said it was a "query hydrosalpinx". They didn't seem particularly bothered about it because it didn't show up on my initial baseline scan. They did say that if necessary they would just drain it on egg collection ...

Hi Loopy, I think they're about average in the statistics stakes. I can't seem to find an actual `league table' anywhere that puts clinics into a particular order level. I printed out all of the North East stats and they seemed a bit wishy washy to be honest, I certainly couldn't find anywhere with ...

Hi Annie, really sorry that it hasn't worked for you this time. You'll find that many of the girls here have suffered disappointment and I know its a cliche but it does get easier. After my -ve in May I didn't think that I could face going through it again, not because of the drugs or the surgery ...

Hi Eskavon. Mine arrived properly 2 days after my -ve test and then on time for the next month. I would love to read a never give up story from you! I did read a thread a while ago about having to wait though. Congratulations on getting funding for your next cycle.

I think the grading relates to the quality of the embryo, the amount of fragmeting that has occurred and not to the size. I had a 6A (good quality 6 cell) and an 8A/B (quite good quality 8 cell).
