Hmm, I did just the opposite. I put an ice pack on for about 20 minutes before the injection. No pain.

I had knots, but mine ITCHED like mad! And, after I was done with the shots, the skin on my booty got lizard-like. It took a couple of months for my skin (and lumps) to get back to normal ...

LOVED it. I never actually threw up during the first trimester because of it. I used the dissolving tablets. I would guess I took one every 2-3 days. I have 2 healthy babies now - and a mommy who wasn't totally miserable during pregnancy!

Good luck to you. IVF is such an involved process, you have every right to be "worried" because you don't quite know what to expect at each stage.

The retrieval wasn't bad for me either. I was put in a very light sleep, so I don't know what happened - but it was BRIEF! It seemed like as soon as I ...

Good luck girls! Our twins are almost 7 weeks old!

Our first round of IVF worked (stressful as you all know!) and i had a pretty uneventful pregnancy until about week 28. Get ready - that's when the real fun starts! You are near the end....you are big with babies....they move around like crazy and ...

Hey everybody - long time no talk. It's been a long couple of months.

Best news - Maggie and Andrew arrived on May 2 via c-section. My water broke (Maggie wanted OUT!) at 36 weeks. I was on bedrest with high blood pressure and massive swelling for 3 weeks up to that. We have a web site with some ...

I haven't posted in a while myself! I am working on a reduced work schedule these days, so the hours I'm in the office, it is really crazy trying to train a new person, hire 1 more before I go on leave and just general transition stuff. As a bonified work-a-holic, realizing these babies are coming ...

DH and I are SO cheap - so yes, it was like we got a buy one get one deal on the babies!

Nausea - get Zofran. It's a prescription, but it kept me from throwing up. I took one about every 2-3 days, so I still had the icky feeling, but if I knew that vomit was inevitable, I put on of the ...

Yep, we had the same thing. There is more in the cartridge than what you think (and what the box says). If I remember correctly, we could get 3 injections out of one cartridge. Call it a freebee :)

Woohoo!! More twins!

Congrats to you new twins mommies-to-be.

We're having twins, too. It's really exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Just think that it's two for the price of one!

Hope that you don't have terrible nausea for the first trimester and things continue to progress well for ...

I'm leaving you all, too!

I have had a great time on the 2nd trimester board, thanks for everybody's updates and stories. You have all made me feel less neurotic at several points during this journey.

Good luck to you all and we'll see you in the 3rd trimester!

:)

I'm here....I'm here....

I think I have officially crossed over!

I passed my gestational diabetes test, blood pressure is in check, babies are moving all the time, so things couldn't be better for us right now!

I am snoring at night, have mild swelling and beginning of lower back pain, but hey ...

I don't have my pound to gram chart with me....why can't the U.S. convert to metrics already?? #@*$#&

Is 2.3 and 1.7 really that far off? It doesn't seem to be - .6 difference? I can't believe that it makes the percentiles that far apart! Also, don't forget that they are using ...
