Donor Insemination

Alice,

Thanks for your reply. I need people to be blunt with me right now, so thanks. I don't know whether to put more time, effort and finances into treatment or to head down the adoption route straight away. We have used DH's frozen sperm for our ICSI tmt and we had good fertilisation but ...

Donor Insemination

Our second ICSI failed two weeks ago. I knew it had failed before I went for the PG test at the centre, so I was able to ask some questions that I wouldn't have done until our 6 week review. Basically my eggs don't like to be injected for ICSI but DH's sperm can't swim well enough for IVF. We are ...

My eggs don't like ICSI

We found out yesterday that our second ICSI had failed. I was also told that we could try again if we wanted but to be aware that the prognosis is reduced. The reason is that my eggs don't like being injected and so this causes us to have fragmented embryos. DH's sperm is not good enough at swimming ...

Menogon V Menopur

I'm about to start my second ICSI cycle. Last time around I was on Menogon injections. At my review meeting I specifically asked if anything would change next time. I was told no, because I responded perfectly to the drugs. I have just been to collect my drugs for the new cycle and have been given ...

EC on Tuesday

Yhanks to yuo all for your messages. Well I am home again and I have survived EC

Charlotte Good luck for tomorrow. I hope you get this in time. The EC was nothing like I imagined. I was sedated by two drugs, one that made me feel a bit tipsy and another one that came later. The nurse said ...

EC on Tuesday

I have got my EC on Tuesday and have suddenly got very very very very very very scared of it. WHY? because I read a magazine article last time I was at the clinic of a woman's story. She said the EC was very painful. Is it true? OR Is it another thing that is not pleasant, but you handle because you ...

down reg and AF

I am on week 3 of sniffing synarel and today have had bad period pains. Much knicker checking has just revealed the starting stages of AF. Is this normal? Has it happened to anyone else who has been successful to down reg? The clinic is closed for the evening and I just know I won't sleep.
Please ...

side effects

Hi Debs.
What time do you inject? In the pack from the centre it says morning, but that will be quite inconvenient for us. Hubby is trained to do it, but will be asleep when I leave for work.

side effects

This may sound very silly but it is worrying me no end! I have been sniffing synarel for a week now and have absolutely no side effects. The clinic said that I can't possibly be doing it wrong as long as I am putting it up ny nose and sniffing. I am really worried that it is not working which is why ...
