I just want to say I agree with the other posters. Bfeeding is a lot of work, especially early on. With two, it must be even harder. It gets easier once they are past 6 mo because they can take solids and sleep more. But don't feel bad if you can't do it.

I belong to La Lache League and attend their meetings. One woman came with this same Q while she was still pregnant. The consensus was that it could be yeast infection, not colostrum. Some thing to consider...

Hi,
I don't have twins, I have a singleton but,
I just wanted to tell you that I tried to do the same thing you are doing- pump and give a bottle rather than bfeed mainly because I was really uncomfortable nursing in public. Well, I learned the hard way that you still need to bfeed few times a day ...

c-section scar

Hi,
I some times seem to get an itching from the scar. I did not gain much weight since the surgery. So, I am not sure why it itches. Does any one know? It has been 9 mo. since the surgery. I put some lotion on it and that takes care of it for the day.

I was told it was ok to travel in the first trimester but I chose not to because I knew first three months were still risky and did not want to have to deal with it in a strange city if I required medical attention.

Since you have a business trip, it may be wise to ask your ob for all the medical ...

riogirl1,
I am not a stepmom but always thought that stepmomhood is like a one-way. You are expected to pitch in to raise the kid w/o having any expectations from the other side. i.e, you are not free to discipline the kid or ask her to call you mom etc. I think you are doing a great job, keep it up!

Suzhan,
I am so sorry, I really was thinking that your baby was gonna' be fine. I feel that you have gone thr' a lot so far with this pregnancy thing. Take a break and go on a vacation for a weekend when it is all sorted out. I can only imagine the sadness you are feeling. Take care and peace to you.

You may want to be careful with that sugar intake. What worked for me (my obgyn suggested it) was eating more protein. Just peanut butter did it when I was real busy.

Hi,
I did mine when I was 38 and it took about 10 days for the results to come. The counselor said that if there is some thing wrong with the blood test, they would've hurried up and given out the results sooner. Mine came out same risk as a 21 yr. old! So, good luck, you will be just fine.

Bonita,
I am so sorry about your split. As much as IVF is a worthwhile thing to try, it does take its emotional and physical toll on you. I was always concerned (prior to starting my IVF) that I would get into an infinite loop of cycle after cycle w/o success and hence, I did not accept their ...

Hi,
I had it with mine. I was on rest for previa and it was very hard to control it because of it. I tried my best to avoid the insulin shots and I did just fine. The key is to follow their instructions strictly and take walks right after eating. You can eat a lot of cheese, eggs, meat and veggies ...
